About the OP and ED

I think I've seen somewhere images explaining how the OP changes from episode to episode (there is of course the henshin sequence, but also other details like walls appearing or Madoka running faster IIRC). If that was the case, wouldn't it be nice to make a new subpage for it either here or in the Facts_and_Observations page?--Homerun-chan 16:31, 13 February 2011 (CST)

Also, I've read on tvtropes that the ED changed slightly too (like, zooming further from the skull). If that's really the case (didn't notice anything tbh), then it might also be relevant to add it to the ED analysis page, wouldn't it? --Homerun-chan 16:31, 13 February 2011 (CST)

Theories

about the theories: in my school we currently have one that was not mentioned here. we think that homura´s body already died while kyubey was somewhere else and then her soul transfered into another person (most likely a girl that picked the soul gem up) homura took the identiy of the girl and kyubey doesn´t notice that she is an already contracted girl and thinks of her as an irregular. Because of the soul transfer homura knows the fact that the soul is in the soul gem which is why she knew what happened to sayaka. --62.214.239.144 03:58, 19 February 2011 (CST)

Can you write the article explaining it? I'll create a new page for you. --0x99 04:21, 19 February 2011 (CST)
i can try. i´ve never done something like this before --62.214.239.144 04:37, 19 February 2011 (CST)
OK, write it here: Speculah:Homura Identity Swap Theory. --0x99 10:01, 19 February 2011 (CST)

finished --62.214.239.144 12:15, 19 February 2011 (CST)

Nice work. Also thanks Fallacies for cleaning up the article. --0x99 14:30, 19 February 2011 (CST)

Just a request: Now that Theories has been given its own page, would it be possible to put a link under the Community Menu on the left of the Wiki? Feels a bit clunky to have to navigate to Articles page for a "here" link to get to it. And great job folks, this wiki is outstanding!(118.22.250.212 02:52, 13 March 2011 (UTC))

Oh yeah, forgot about that, sorry. I'm gonna add it this very moment. Thanks for the reminder. --Homerun-chan 11:41, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

Theory: Puella Magi Don't Age

I can't create new pages, so I thought writing it here would be the most appropriate way. The following content should be ready for moving to a page, I think. (Already moved to Speculah:Puella_Magi_Don't_Age) --KFYatek 06:56, 20 February 2011 (CST)

Done. You can create new page as soon as your account is one day old. Sorry for the trouble. --0x99 08:08, 20 February 2011 (CST)

Intertextuality

Lately a bunch of stuff has been added to this section, but either they're only linked, or nobody supplied further information. Could the originators come and add some content? Otherwise, I'm not sure these should really be here. --Fallacies 19:15, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

Refactoring

Continued from User talk:0x99/Debunked. At the moment, all the speculah is mixed together by theme/topic, but without a clear notice of their inaneness/likelihood, so it's starting to get messy/non-newcomers-friendly. So, I think we should think of a way to sort this a bit. Here's what I think we should do, the main concern being: how do we do it?

  • Separate the analyses and articles from the speculah. By that, I mean that Faust, Walhallah Night or the ED analysis shouldn't be mixed up with speculah IMO.
  • Maybe split the list in 3 sublists by status: confirmed, debunked and unknown? Tagging the articles in the list improved the visibility IMO, but I maybe we should do it in a more tidy way?
  • Either remove or complete the dead links and the articles that are only 1 paragraph long (I'm thinking of Lord Humungus e.g.; I don't think it's really relevant anymore; at best it could move to it's own episode's Speculah section).
  • Probably rename the entry on the homepage menu too?
  • Maybe remove the "confirmed theories" link from the HP menu, if said theories are given a better visibility on this page?

Thoughts? --Homerun-chan 19:40, 8 March 2011 (UTC)

I'm thinking along these lines:
  • Theory Articles
    • Confirmed
    • Unconfirmed
    • Debunked
  • Analyses
    • Confirmed
    • Unconfirmed
    • Debunked
  • References/Other Articles(?)
That way we could give emphasis or visibility on the confirmed ones or those close to being confirmed?

That's an idea, but then what do we do with the classification by theme? Remove it?
Another idea I just thought of would be to keep the actual division by theme, but order it so that theories appear from the most likely (i.e. confirmed theories or theories "almost confirmed") to the most unlikely (debunked theories or far-fetched ones).
Also, do we keep a general table of contents for all articles (as it is now), or should we give the analyses their own page, thus separating speculah from analysis? --Homerun-chan 10:26, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
Agree with splitting Articles into seperate Analysis and Speculah sections. Prima 10:55, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
Hmm prolly like this?
Category: Articles
Section: Speculah
  • Theme 1
    • Confirmed
    • Unconfirmed
    • Debunked
  • Theme 2
    • Confirmed
    • Unconfirmed
    • Debunked
Section: Analyses
  • Theme 1
    • Confirmed
    • Unconfirmed
    • Debunked
  • Theme 2
    • Confirmed
    • Unconfirmed
    • Debunked
This way we could keep the themes, but at the same time separate speculah from analyses and then give emphasis on confirmed theories from the unconfirmed ones and the debunked ones? -Crosse 04:20, 11 March 2011 (UTC)

Philosophy

I am working with philosophical issues to be applied with the series. Nothing too serious, just mere observations and opinions that could be applied to philosophical views. I decided to gather the stuff that I wrote and create one single page for it. Is everyone ok with it? I just don't want to feel like I am overstepping, also keep in mind that I am not a great writer so my stuff may be lacking a bit. If you feel like to can improve it, you are more than welcome to make changes to it. --Mutopis 06:16, 25 September 2011 (UTC)

Witch's Humanity

I have a thought about the Witches hiding in barriers. Witches hide away in their barriers because the fraction of humanity left inside them is ashamed of what it has become, and doesn't want to be seen. Walpurgisnacht doesn't need to hide in a barrier because it has no trace of humanity left (and was promptly burning and destroyed by the wish). -Bhl88 01:20, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
