I just read the first volume (well, not reading so much as skimming because I can't read Japanese) and it seems like the first volume is basically the third drama CD. However, there are quite a few extra plot points and extra details included, such as Mami running into two other magical girls, seeing how Kyoko's father discovered she was a magical girl, what happened after Kyoko's father discovered said fact but before he slaughtered the family, and a bunch of Mami/Kyoko scenes. It's also interesting to note that this story is different after all; the volume ends with Sayaka and Kyoko's confrontation; however, instead of Homura interfering, it's Mami who does so this time; she's still alive at this point in the story. --Silvermoon424 18:48, 17 October 2012 (UTC)

It seems that in this timeline, someone escapes from her fate, but someone doesn't. Sayaka still inevitably becomes a witch, although she doesn't say "I'm such a fool" this time.
Mami: "Please be with me, not for your own or others' sake, but for my own sake."

Witches

• Witch 1, seems to have an electronics/magnets theme.

• Witch 1's familiars.

• Witch 2. Seems to be the one that Kyoko chased for a year in the drama cd that attack Madoka and Sayaka.

• Witch 2's familiars.

• Witch 2's barrier symbol.

• This witch attacked the Sakura Church and fought Kyoko.

• The witch in Sakura Church's familiars and barrier.

• The witch that attacked Kyoko in the snow outside of Sakura Church.

• The witch that attacked Kyoko in the snow's familiars.

• An unknown witch's familiars. (Witch never shown.)

• A witch and familiars fought by Mami and Sayaka. Barrier has many stairs leading to different doors the witch can use to move around the barrier. Resembles a mole.

• A witch fought by Mami, Sayaka, Homura and Kyoko. Resembles a queen bee with the familiars as drones. Barrier resembles a hive, with giant honeycombs on the walls.

• A witch that attacks Mami while fighting the bee witch. Resembles a large carnivorous plant. It and the bee witch resemble the two girls Mami once met.

• As shown in this image from Volume 3, they are their witch forms.

• When Mami almost become a witch, she has an illusion seeing Candeloro calls her to give up.

• And her familiars.
