Thanks to its popularity, Madoka has inspired or has been involved in all sorts of events. Here is a list of events somehow connected to the Madoka universe.

Madoka Magica Café
The Good Smile Café is a café in Tokyo specialized in anime and otaku culture. After the TV series ended, the café turned into "Madoka Magica Café" for a few months (2 months were planned; the event was extended by one extra month due to its popularity).

Puella Magi Madoka Magica premiere in the US
At Otakon 2011 in Baltimore (Maryland), Aniplex of America screened the first three episodes of Madoka Magica with English subtitles. The event was then followed by an interview of Atsuhiro Iwakami, the series director. Learn more about the event on this page!
Movic Madoka Magica Exhibit
Hosted in various sites in Japan from December to March. It recreates the environment of the anime, with an exhibition of key moments from the anime in both 2-D and 3-D displays, a Madoka-themed game area and a shop.
Otakon 2012
Otakon 2012 in Baltimore, Maryland featured panels and autograph sessions with Gen Urobuchi, Ai Nonaka, and several English VA's in addition to a screening of Madoka's finale.
Madoka Magica the Movie Exhibition: Beginnings and Eternal
A traveling event displaying artwork from the first two Madoka Magica movies and featuring a life-sized figure of Ultimate Madoka.
Madoka Magica the Movie Exhibition: "I want to see you once more..."
Recreates the environment of Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion with images and life-sized figures. Visitors also have access to a café and a shop. Held in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya.

Saimoe Tournament 2011 / 2013
The Saimoe Tournament is a contest organised by Japanese anime enthousiasts from 2ch, which aims at determining the most moe girl of the year. This year, several Madoka characters were chosen to participate. Click to see how well they did, have a summary of the different rounds ... And see if your favorite character has won! The cast also participated in the Best Moe Tournament 2011 and the International Saimoe League 2012.
