Summary

A magical girl who dreams of becoming a fashion designer. She was born the only daughter of a family that owned a sheet metal factory, but not having any other successor, she is distressed at the thought that her parents will want her to inherit the factory. She is very diligent, but there are times when she gets strange looks from the people around her.

When her parents were going to retire, Kanoko contracted with Kyubey in order to avoid inheriting her family's business until after she could realize her dream. Kyubey did tell her she could simply wish to be a fashion designer, however Kanoko refused saying she wants to achieve her dream by her own merit.

Abilities

In Mami's sidestory Kanoko says her ability is "sewing". She says she can sew two enemies together.

Etymology

• The characters of her last name mean "arrow" (矢) and "evening" (宵) respectively.
