"Eri Kitamura (Sayaka) likes the company of other seiyuu, besides Ai Nonaka (Kyoko)." This statement is vague. Does this mean that she enjoys the company of other seiyuus in addition to Ai Nonaka, or except Ai Nonaka? "Besides" can be used both ways. Is there more known about KitaEri's and Nonaka's relationship? Statements like this (http://wiki.puella-magi.net/File:Twitter_comment.jpg) make it seem like they're friendly, while statements like "Kitamura-san and Nonaka-san were very good-natured. Thanks to their politeness and kindness, the recording went smoothly despite a bit of tension." in the "And I'm Home" page make it look like they dislike each other. Can anyone clarify? 79.177.197.86 19:29, 3 October 2013 (UTC)MrParanoid

It's probably supposed to be in addition to Ai Nonaka. I haven't seen anything that would imply that they dislike each other (the tension referenced in the "And I'm Home" tweet could be about the recording itself, or something different). Publicly, they seem to get along rather well.--Knon 10:49, 4 October 2013 (UTC)

it seems like she became a witch in the train scene in episode 8. but after that scene she was back normal when kyouko talked to her only to transform really into a witch with grief seed then. questions:

1. Does a witch hold her original form after the first transformation and becomes a real witch sometime later when her grief increases?
2. if 1. is right, would there still be a change to save her from becoming a witch (first transformation as alert)?
3.does the colour of sayaka´s soul gem before becoming a grief seed have a connection with a picture (i´m sure i´ve seen one like this)?
4.Can Sayaka´s witch form evolve or fuse with other witches (on walpurgisnacht)?

I guess we'll found that out by the next episode, but she probably "temporary" transformed in that train scene. (Just like mahou shoujo transformation, but more on witch's side). --0x99 16:59, 27 February 2011 (UTC)

Learn some French, petit means small, or little, not petty. Not even almost. And a bourgeoise was a member of the upper class, not middle class. 85.230.122.238 15:23, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

--Not quite. Setting aside the fact that "little bourgeois" should be rendered as "petite bourgeoise" in Sayaka's case, "petite bourgeoisie" literally does mean "petty bourgeoisie" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petite_bourgeoisie), and explicitly refers to the middle class of small shop-owners, government employees, etc; the bourgeoisie are traditionally the owners of capital, which in Japan's economic system could mean either the upper or middle classes. Sayaka's family can definitely be considered bourgeois, as they can afford to send their daughter to a private school and live in a large, well-decorated apartment. 64.89.144.100 16:48, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

episode 12

sayaka did also die in the world madoka created and madoka shows her kamijous concert before the soul is taken in by her

  • Sayaka is someone who is willing to sacrifice herself but needs to know the meaning. In previous timelines, her motivation is gaining Kamijou's love. She regretted to become a puella magi if she failed to get this as return. In the new timeline, however, Madoka indicated her the meaning of her sacrifice. Although she still unable to win Kamijou's love, Kamijou's performance won't be heard and accepted without her sacrifice. Knowing this, she can gone peacefully. This scene may also imply that many puellae magi, like her, can finally found the meaning of their sacrifices. Yorkwoo 01:28, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
From the anime, Madoka purified all the corrupted soul gems of the mahou shoujo and letting them passed away in peace. However, Sayaka was the one exception. Though she should have vanished along when her soul gem was corrupted in Madoka's new world, she was still able to manifest herself and listen to Kamijou's performance. Is it because Madoka wanting to let her leave without any regrets? and someone writing about Sayaka becoming a goddess, where did the idea came from? Demonicslayer 16:19, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
In my guess, they are just in different perspective. For others, the magical girl is disappeared. But in the magical girl's viewpoint, she is brought to see what good job she did so that she can pass away without regret. Yorkwoo 17:43, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
But it's also implied that in the new universe, dying puellae magi go to a mahou-shoujo heaven that Madoka has for them.

Sayaka's weapon enhanced

In early proposal, Sayaka is fighting Kyoko from EP5(or 4) to EP9. She is supposed to be much more powerful than in anime or she cannot withstand Kyoko. Another possibility is that she might be that powerful in some timelines we didn't see. I'll upload another picture later. Yorkwoo 14:53, 9 September 2011 (UTC)

Sayaka's Zombie Body

Do we have confirmation regarding Sayaka's rotten body scene? It could give us more details regarding the nature of the Soul Gem and even open new doors about body regeneration (can a rotten body heal back to normal, etc...) --Mutopis 06:06, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

Also, Urobuchi is a sick man... --Mutopis 06:06, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
Oh, God. I just came from 4chan... at least the shadows cover the rotten parts... (I hope...) --Mutopis 06:52, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
Did you happen to get a picture? I am... morbidly curious. Silvermoon424 04:30, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
here, however it is covered by a shadow..., not sure if there is anything more graphic than that --Mutopis 04:45, 21 March 2012 (UTC)

Sayaka's Soul Gem Motif

So I made a little theory about Sayaka's Soul Gem motif - C. In Speculations/Observations, it was left that it's a connection between Sayaka and music, and that C is a note. I think it has a deeper meaning.

I already posted my theory on tumblr, but I rarely get any feedback on there so I thought someone here would correct me or something.

Now, I’m sorry if you have a hard time keeping up with me and stuff, but English isn’t my native language and I’m not really good with musical terms in it, so with the help of Wikipedia I’ll try to explain this.

So you all know the C symbol that dominates Sayaka’s soul gem, right? And sure, C IS the first note and all that but.. it surprised me that nobody thought of it this way:

While I was still in music school, we were taught how to read, write and compose our own music. And naturally, with that, we were taught time signatures. And this is where shit gets serious.

The time signature 4/4 can also be represented by the Common time signature. The symbol for Common Time? It’s C.

C = 4/4.

In Episode 4, Sayaka becomes a magical girl.

In Episode 8, Sayaka turns into a witch; 4+4=8, right?

So by her Soul Gem, we could already see that she would turn into a witch in 4 episodes after she becomes a Puella Magi.

Her Soul Gem foreshadowed her demise.

Just like little Anthonies foreshadowed Mami’s.

It’s my theory, it may sound a little stupid, but I think it’s kinda creepy. --Killwitches-getbitches 18:49, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

How much does Sayaka remember after The Rebellion Story

Sayaka was clearly extremely happy to see Hitomi and Kyousuke which shows she must have at least some memory of the past universes, and immediately afterwords we see that she has a ring and a dot on her fingernail.

Sayaka's Devotion

The page says that she is a devoted friend, "for the most part". If I may ask, what does she do that ever shows a lack of devotion? Her three friends (excluding Kyoko who she had a rough relationship with until the end, anyway) are Madoka, Hitomi, and Kyosuke. She rescues Madoka, and does everything she can to protect her (and the entirety of Mitakihara) until she becomes a witch, and she lets Hitomi have Kyosuke, and in Drama CDs and Rebellion, she is shown protecting Hitomi with her powers as a magical girl too. As for Kyosuke, she became a magical girl in order to heal him. So what exactly is NOT devoted about her? SAYAKAMI 14:46, 16 March 2015 (UTC)

The 'Personality' sections

I noticed someone came here a while ago and changed it up to be very short & sweet with simple words compared to the previous lengthy one. It's inconsistent with the personality sections from the other characters so far. Hell, Kyoko doesn't even have anything put up in hers and that should be changed unless we drop it! But for Sayaka here-- are we gonna keep it and change stuff, or are we gonna put a lengthy description back again? Leave it be? --SayakaVonSeckendorff 16:50, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
