It seems IE9 will not render a TTF font located on the web, unless it's "allowed to serve it from a web server", in order to avoid license problem.

:They appear in the OP, in the scene where Madoka transforms with the assist of the other pink-haired girl. From ep2 onwards, there are runes floating all around the transformation bubble. Ep6 is best for inspection, thanks to its background color alternation (some shots have darker background that way). Apparently someone inspected that scene veeeery closely <s>and found two unidentified runes. How did he conclude which of them is Q and which is X, remains a mystery to me.</s> and found that some runes are spinning and fading into each other in alphabetical order. Addin my share with the runes I tried this morning. Most of the time, we can consider the modern and archaic runes to be coming from a common "ancestor", so I tried to do something in-between (just like prima and Piparkaq actually). Stumbled upon this on reddit and immediately noticed some similarity between this and madokarune, even if it wasn't one-to-one correspondence.

Roughly, the madokarune matrix is appx

* 6, 9, 5 {{runes|6, 9, 5}}

== Modern "p" ==
It might not be the first time it has been reported, the shape of the [Modern] "p" used in [[Runes:Magia Record Game|the Game: Magia Record]] is different from the "p" provided by this wiki.

It is probably because the Runes were created from a blurry image. [Modern] Runes is used much less frequently than [Archaic] Runes, and as far as I know, the type example of [Modern] "p" is only the text, "Planm[äß]i[g] zurechtbiegen" in [[Runes:Episode 1|the anime: Madoka Magica Episode 1]] (also repurposed in Magia Record Episode 11)."

Because this wiki treats [Modern] Runes as a lowercase character, it is often used here, in spite of its infrequent official use. This wiki and 4chan have been played a significant role in deciphering Madoka Runes. So, the fonts provided on this wiki and their successors are still widely used in the Madoka Magica fandom. This novel's protagonist, Giovanni, is a boy who tends to isolate himself from his surroundings due to the rumors related to his absent father. On the night of the festival of the constellation Centaurus, he climbs the hill alone and watches the night sky, instead of joining the festival.

As he gazes up at the Milky Way, Giovanni suddenly finds himself with his best friend, Campanella, onboard a train. That train had been running on a railway laid on the shore of the Milky Way in the night sky. Shortly before they reach their first stop, they look out the window to see the [[wikipedia:Northern Cross (asterism) | Northern Cross]]. At their first stop, [[wikipedia:Cygnus (constellation)|Swan Station]], they get off and stop at Pliocene Beach. After they board the train again, they meet a bird-catcher who catches wild geese to turn them into candy. In a talk with the bird-catcher, Giovanni learns that the green ticket he has is a special one that can take him wherever he wishes. The bird-catcher disappears and a pair of young siblings and a young man appear in their place. They seem to have boarded the train after the ship they were on hit an iceberg and sank. They gaze at the [[wikipedia:Scorpius|Scorpio's fire]] from the window and have conversations about "true happiness" and "the only true God". At the [[wikipedia:Crux|Southern Cross]], called Heaven, all the other passengers get off and Giovanni and Campanella are left alone again. They vow to go together as far as they can, for the sake of "true happiness of all people". However, after they passed the [[wikipedia:Coalsack Nebula|Coalsack]], Campanella suddenly disappears after he tells Giovanni that there is true heaven outside the window and that his mother is there.

===Plot Summary of the Novel===
This novel's protagonist, Giovanni, is a boy who tends to isolate himself from his surroundings due to the rumors related to his absent father. On the night of festival of the constellation Centaurus, he climbs the hill alone and watches the night sky, instead of joining the festival.

As he gazes up at the Milky Way, Giovanni suddenly finds himself with his best friend, Campanella, onboard a train. That train had been running on a railway laid on the shore of the Milky Way in the night sky. Shortly before they reach their first stop, they look out the window to see the [[wikipedia:Northern Cross (asterism) | Northern Cross]]. At their first stop, [[wikipedia:Cygnus (constellation)|Swan Station]], they get off and stop at Pliocene Beach. After they board the train again, they meet a bird-catcher who catches wild geese to turn them into candy. In a talk with the bird-catcher, Giovanni learns that the green ticket he has is a special one that can take him wherever he wishes. The bird-catcher disappears and a pair of young siblings and a young man appear in their place. They seem to have boarded the train after the ship they were on hit an iceberg and sank. They gaze at the [[wikipedia:Scorpius|Scorpio's fire]] from the window and have conversations about "true happiness" and "the only true God". At the [[wikipedia:Crux|Southern Cross]], called Heaven, all the other passengers get off and Giovanni and Campanella are left alone again. They vow to go together as far as they can, for the sake of "true happiness of all people". However, after they passed the [[wikipedia:Coalsack Nebula|Coalsack]], Campanella suddenly disappears after he tells Giovanni that there is a true heaven outside the window and that his mother is there.

Giovanni tries to tell Campanella's father where he has gone, but he informs him that Giovanni's father will be returning soon. Giovanni is choked with various emotions and heads home.

This novel's protagonist, Giovanni, is a boy who tends to isolate himself from his surroundings due to the rumors related to his absent father. On the night of festival of the constellation Centaurus, he climbs the hill alone and watches the night sky, instead of joining the festival.

As he gazes up at the Milky Way, Giovanni suddenly finds himself with his best friend, Campanella, onboard a train. That train had been running on a railway laid on the shore of the Milky Way in the night sky. Shortly before they reach their first stop, they look out the window to see the [[wikipedia:Northern Cross (asterism) | Northern Cross]]. At their first stop, [[wikipedia:Cygnus (constellation)|Swan Station]], they get off and stop at Pliocene Beach. After they board the train again, they meet a bird-catcher who catches wild geese to turn them into candy. In a talk with the bird-catcher, Giovanni learns that the green ticket he has is a special one that can take him wherever he wishes. The bird-catcher disappears and a pair of young siblings and a young man appear in their place. They seem to have boarded the train after the ship they were on hit an iceberg and sank. They gaze at the [[wikipedia:Scorpius|Scorpio's fire]] from the window and have conversations about "true happiness" and "the only true God". At the [[wikipedia:Crux|Southern Cross]], called Heaven, all the other passengers get off and Giovanni and Campanella are left alone again. They vow to go together as far as they can, for the sake of "true happiness of all people". However, after they passed the [[wikipedia:Coalsack Nebula|Coalsack]], Campanella suddenly disappears after he tells Giovanni that there is a true heaven outside the window and that his mother is there.

Giovanni tries to tell Campanella's father where he has gone, but he informs him that Giovanni's father will be returning soon. Giovanni is choked with various emotions and heads home.
