It already premiered about a day ago or so. Some kind Japanese Anon already offered a write up of the most notable things. Here it is:

Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Beginning Story

I watched this yesterday and want to write down my observation and thoughts, just for your curiosity. Excuse me for my poor English though, it’s not my mother tongue.

Also, SPOILER WARNING

First of all;

1) They said it was going to be a recap. I say, SHINBO THE MASTER TROLLER. Every scenes have got certain changes-more or less-and, as far as I remember, all nearly all of the highlights scenes have been REDRAWN. It’s not merely a recap; I would call it a complete overhaul.

2) Those changes are so significant that, even though I had recently watched Madoka all over again-for my fourth time-on Niconico last week, it just felt like a completely new anime. If you haven’t watched Madoka for a while, I guarantee, it will be just as fresh as it was in 2011.

Story

1) There are not many changes or differences and most of them seem to be insignificant. I recognized some changes in the order of certain scenes, probably to join all the separate episodes together into a single continuing piece.

2) The first part, as it was revealed earlier in the morning, covers the first 8 episodes; it ends with ‘I’m such a fool’ and that god damn Kyubey lecturing us about the meaning of mahout-shojo.

Scenes

1) Apparently, there are few scenes that have been cut out, like the one with Madoka in a cafe asking Homura if she could help Sayaka. The dialogue itself seems to be absorbed into the other scene on the school’s roof. The scene where Sayaka makes her contract is also made very brief, with no dialogue at all.

2) There are four transformation sequences; new ones each for Sayaka and Kyoko, TWO FOR MAMI. They are of course much better than the ones on the TV series. Sayaka’s transformation takes place underwater and clearly resembles that of the little mermaid, or maybe her fate. Kyoko performs a nice dance with her spear while transforming, if you know what I mean.

3) It shows Mami’s Soul Gem getting shattered into pieces when Charlotte does MOGUMOGU. The entire sequence -Mami vs Charlotte- has actually become a little bit more crual, although I can’t explain why and how. Maybe because the way Charlotte moves, or it could be something about that new soundtrack.

4) For those who are concerned about all those beautiful shaft necks; rejoice. You can enjoy those nice angles of 90 degrees on the huge cinema screen.

5) THAT INU-CURRY WORLD FILLING THE ENTIRE CINEMA SCREEN.

6) The very last part of the new ending animation features an unknown pink silhouette -most likely that of Godoka- with another silhouette that is somewhat smaller and floating inside its belly, or womb?

Music

1) This is where I'm giving the most credit. Kajiura has once again done a magnificent job. I just can’t imagine the Madoka universe anymore without her works.

2) There are a number of new soundtracks; including the other two of which I haven't even heard so far. There are three -so far as I’ve counted- newly rearranged Sis Puella Magica(the main theme), two for Conturbatio(the Sayaka theme); one of those is a vocal version and played during the Sayaka vs Elsa Maria. It sounds something like an aria -like one from opera-makes the scene even more tragic. It is so heart breaking.

3) Credens Justitiam also has got a vocal version, definitely by Kalafina. You can assume how much Shaft cares about Mami.

4) The Homura vs Charlotte battle has got a new soundtrack, as well as the scene where Sayaka turns into a witch ;_; If you prefer Decretum, you might be a bit disappointed, although the new soundtrack is just as amazing.

5) EVEN WITCHES HAVE GOT THEIR OWN THEME SOUNDTRACK. Both Charlotte and Television-chan. the Charlotte theme is pretty nice. You can hardly wait for the release of the new soundtrack. I think there is one for Elsa Maria as well, but not sure if it was just the vocal version of Conturbatio which I have just mentioned above.

6) The ending theme is the movie arrange of Magia, at the full length. The new ending animation is, put it simply, an extended version of the original TV one, featuring silhouettes of several unknown magical girls before those of the main characters appear in the way like they did in the original one.

Trivia

1) They're now studying in a cathedral. I'm not even joking.

2) Mitagihara City now looks more urbanized then even NYC. Must be renamed St.Madokaburg or something.

3) Mrs Kaname is just as bro as she is in the TV series.

4) The teacher is still struggling with fertility stuff. No peace for poor Nakazawa-kun.

5) For the first time, they say, Madoka appears in a plain clothe! Remember that previously in the TV serious she shows only three types of outfit; school uniform, magical girl’s dress, and pajama.

From what impressions I've read and skimmed, there are no changes to the ending's content-- for instance, I don't see anything being said about there being no Majuu (demons) or Sayaka not dying. The New World: Movie Version and Differences

There is speculation that the New World version of the movie is not the same from the anime series version. The New World concept of the movie version radically departs from the anime version that it alters the anime storyline. If the creators have made the story from the movie version a different story from that of the anime version, so we must consider both versions to be equally valid. If we consider the New World of the movie version and anime version to be canon then one acceptable explanation is that these two Worlds are from different universes. How these two Worlds are connected has not been explained. Since the universe from the anime series and the universe from the movie version share similarities but radical differences, they will both be treated as separate universes. The universe from the anime version will be indicated as '''Universe A''', and the universe from the movie version will be indicated as '''Universe M''', just as a matter of pragmatism.

*At first it seems like the cycle of suffering has been broken and that Witches have never existed in the New World of '''Universe M''', but this is proven to be false.
*Despair continues to haunt magical girls in the New World of '''Universe M'''.

*Sayaka is alive in '''Universe M'''. In '''Universe A''', Sayaka gave her life as a sacrifice and Ultimate Madoka accepted Sayaka's fate and wish. Not only does Madoka accept Sayaka's decision, but helps her to transition to what it is speculated to be the afterlife, so Sayaka's doesnt have any regrets from her choice. Why is Sayaka still alive in ''Universe M'' is not known. It is not clear yet if this is the result of Ultimate Madoka's interfering with Sayaka's fate or something else at work.

::My guess: Nothing from the anime ending is changed, there's no alternate universe, the scene with Homura holding the ribbons after Sayaka dies comes halfway through the third movie, Homura reacts that way because it's her first time seeing a girl actually get taken away by Madoka, QB reports Homura's reminiscing to the mothership and they research it, they find a new and creative way to exploit girls, QB tests it on Hitomi, it does not go as planned, out-of-control test subjects turn into witches, and QB will drop by Homura's apartment to casually mention that he wouldn't mind her help cleaning up, since the deaths of all humans on Earth would interfere with reaching his quota in a timely manner. Look, I know that there's a disclaimer about it being highly speculative, but still, this statement-- "The New World concept of the movie version radically departs from the anime version that it alters the anime storyline"-- sounds much too assumptive, much too "definitive" a statement from one making mere speculation. Again, is there anything at *all* in the second movie itself, discounting the trailer that has Sayaka's voice in it, that indicates a New World different from the one seen in the series? I've yet to hear anything about there being altered plot developments in the second movie; it sounds like everything shown in the series ending-- the Majuu, Madoka's wish, Sayaka's death, etc.-- hasn't been taken out. :I can confirm Sayaka dies at the end of the second film, and they have the scene with Homura and "witch" wings. That hasn't changed at all. The simplest explanation is Sayaka's appearance in the third film's trailer is a flashblack. Less simple, but somewhat possible given some ambiguous statements from Urobuchi is that the Sayaka in the trailer is from a parallel timeline/universe/what have you. Or maybe we see her in the afterlife. As for Madoka being seen by Homura...the trailer actually does not have a scene or image where Homura sees Madoka. Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Beginning Story

I watched this yesterday and want to write down my observation and thoughts, just for your curiosity. Excuse me for my poor English though, it’s not my mother tongue.

Also, SPOILER WARNING

First of all;

1) They said it was going to be a recap. I say, SHINBO THE MASTER TROLLER. Every scenes have got certain changes-more or less-and, as far as I remember, all nearly all of the highlights scenes have been REDRAWN. It’s not merely a recap; I would call it a complete overhaul.

2) Those changes are so significant that, even though I had recently watched Madoka all over again-for my fourth time-on Niconico last week, it just felt like a completely new anime. If you haven’t watched Madoka for a while, I guarantee, it will be just as fresh as it was in 2011.

Story

1) There are not many changes or differences and most of them seem to be insignificant. I recognized some changes in the order of certain scenes, probably to join all the separate episodes together into a single continuing piece.

2) The first part, as it was revealed earlier in the morning, covers the first 8 episodes; it ends with ‘I’m such a fool’ and that god damn Kyubey lecturing us about the meaning of mahout-shojo.

Scenes

1) Apparently, there are few scenes that have been cut out, like the one with Madoka in a cafe asking Homura if she could help Sayaka. The dialogue itself seems to be absorbed into the other scene on the school’s roof. The scene where Sayaka makes her contract is also made very brief, with no dialogue at all.

2) There are four transformation sequences; new ones each for Sayaka and Kyoko, TWO FOR MAMI. They are of course much better than the ones on the TV series. Sayaka’s transformation takes place underwater and clearly resembles that of the little mermaid, or maybe her fate. Kyoko performs a nice dance with her spear while transforming, if you know what I mean.

3) It shows Mami’s Soul Gem getting shattered into pieces when Charlotte does MOGUMOGU. The entire sequence -Mami vs Charlotte- has actually become a little bit more crual, although I can’t explain why and how. Maybe because the way Charlotte moves, or it could be something about that new soundtrack.

4) For those who are concerned about all those beautiful shaft necks; rejoice. You can enjoy those nice angles of 90 degrees on the huge cinema screen.

5) THAT INU-CURRY WORLD FILLING THE ENTIRE CINEMA SCREEN.

6) The very last part of the new ending animation features an unknown pink silhouette -most likely that of Godoka- with another silhouette that is somewhat smaller and floating inside its belly, or womb?

Music

1) This is where I'm giving the most credit. Kajiura has once again done a magnificent job. I just can’t imagine the Madoka universe anymore without her works.

2) There are a number of new soundtracks; including the other two of which I haven't even heard so far. There are three -so far as I’ve counted- newly rearranged Sis Puella Magica(the main theme), two for Conturbatio(the Sayaka theme); one of those is a vocal version and played during the Sayaka vs Elsa Maria. It sounds something like an aria -like one from opera-makes the scene even more tragic. It is so heart breaking.

3) Credens Justitiam also has got a vocal version, definitely by Kalafina. You can assume how much Shaft cares about Mami.

4) The Homura vs Charlotte battle has got a new soundtrack, as well as the scene where Sayaka turns into a witch ;_; If you prefer Decretum, you might be a bit disappointed, although the new soundtrack is just as amazing.

5) EVEN WITCHES HAVE GOT THEIR OWN THEME SOUNDTRACK. Both Charlotte and Television-chan. the Charlotte theme is pretty nice. You can hardly wait for the release of the new soundtrack. I think there is one for Elsa Maria as well, but not sure if it was just the vocal version of Conturbatio which I have just mentioned above.

6) The ending theme is the movie arrange of Magia, at the full length. The new ending animation is, put it simply, an extended version of the original TV one, featuring silhouettes of several unknown magical girls before those of the main characters appear in the way like they did in the original one.

Trivia

1) They're now studying in a cathedral. I'm not even joking.

2) Mitagihara City now looks more urbanized then even NYC. Must be renamed St.Madokaburg or something.

3) Mrs Kaname is just as bro as she is in the TV series.

4) The teacher is still struggling with fertility stuff. No peace for poor Nakazawa-kun.

5) For the first time, they say, Madoka appears in a plain clothe! Remember that previously in the TV serious she shows only three types of outfit; school uniform, magical girl’s dress, and pajama.

Mami must jump on lines to reach her, and both Madoka and Homura will follow her. After the witch appears, there is a timer start counting down. Homura must not be killed before the timer reaching zero. After time up, Homura will automatically set the bomb to kill Patricia.

I've watched a player playthrough of the first loop in UST (to about beginning of episode 6 of anime) and from few play impression in 2ch, the game doesn't seems ''that'' hard but you have to be very careful, for example:
:*Any actions can raise Emotion Points.
:*SG can become muddy easier if the point is high.
:*You can't use GS to cleanse a completely mudded SG.
:*You can't use any skill that uses MP if SG is completely mudded.
:*Recovery items are rare.
:*It's impossible to know when to press Q-button.
:*If you're surrounded by 4 familiars, turns will be "You -> Familiar -> Familiar -> Familiar -> Familiar".

:OK, I was able to verify where it's from. It's from an unlocked (therefore not hidden) gallery of Inu-Curry. If you look [[:File:PSP Inu Curry Art Gallery.jpg|here]], the first two images show the menu screens. The remainder are examples of what's in the gallery. There's images that are work-in-progress designs and some that look surreal enough they may just be art designs, that are not actually in the game. The Production Note had that where some of Inu Curry real designs were right next to pages of designs that never made it into the anime. Unfortunately, it's impossible to know without seeing whether it's in the game then. Thinking about it more though, it's probably going to be in the game but well, I'm still not sure if it isn't more of a joke than anything else. How did you get Kyousuke to call Sayaka a monster? When I saved them, they did not remember anything as they fainted and Sayaka and Kyouko escaped. They do remember hearing Sayaka's voice saying that she was a hero of justice though but they dismissed it thinking they were just dreaming. Are there any specific conditions that should be met in order for Kyousuke to call her a monster? O.o

In Sayaka's route, please do not blame Madoka for throwing Sayaka's soul gem. It is Sayaka herself throw out the soul gem. Mami Stopped the fighting between her and Kyoko, then all 3 of them are sucked into Charlotte's barrier. Mami called Sayaka and Kyoko to escape, but Sayaka, who did't want to leave Mami alone, insisted staying there, and then Mami got the same fate as in anime... Knowing she is too weak to protect others, Sayaka threw her soul gem to dismiss her magical girl duty after quiting the barrier with Kyoko. The gem got into the barrier and moved away so she lost it. Madoka and Homura then came and saw a soulless Sayaka. Kyubey told them to get her soul gem back in 2 days or Sayaka may die forever. Again, Kyoko use her magic to keep Sayaka's body. For example, in the Homura route, Day 1 you decide whether to shoot Kyubey or not. If you do, it plays out the scene with Madoka finding an injured Kyubey. No exact dates are given for past events either. :"Only" 81k sales for a PSP game that's not a known game title after two weeks is actually very good. The first week of sales placed it [http://www.famitsu.com/news/201203/29012263.html 3rd] with 72K sales. The concern was the follow-up sales the second week show it's not going to be the blockbuster people thought it might, dropping it to 18th. However, if you look at the [http://www.4gamer.net/games/117/G011794/20120328053/ 4Gamer list], it gives you a better understanding of what rankings are like. For instance, the list covers all software games and PSP sales do not look anything like 3DS sales where top sellers eventually break 1M. They're all merged together though so many on the top 20 are well-known titles like Pokemon, Monster Hunter, Mario etc. PSP titles aren't on the list long because the kind of sales they get are much lower, so you're mostly seeing first week sales which are much stronger typically than latter weeks. In fact, the only PSP title you see on that list that isn't a first week seller is SEGA's Shining Blade which did 19K in second week sales, for a two week total of 141K. Madoka's second week of 8K sales may not seem that great but it is the same as the debut sales for another PSP title that made the top 20, e.g. 8K for second week sales is not terrible.

:Regarding bugs, I've only encountered one known freeze which is also noted on the Japanese wiki. It has a simple workaround of making two different choices on days. There are also reports of people occasionally seeing problems with menu bugs (e.g. buttons become blank or things look strange etc.) that are fixed by resetting the game. Some of the freeze complaints may be due to people using a pirated ISO rip which does freeze up constantly, FYI. On July 20, 2011, a Nendoroid Petit set of all five Madoka characters in mahou shoujo form were unveiled, followed by school girl/casual versions of the same five characters a day later.

A 12 piece set containing all ten of these Nendoroid Petit, plus a "secret" Madoka Magica Nendoroid Petit and an additional ramdom duplicate Nendoroid Petit, has been opened for pre-order on July 22. Individual blindboxes containing any one of the eleven Nendoroid Petit are also expected to be marketed in Japan.
