===Original Anime===
Walpurgisnacht makes her first appearance in [[Episode 1]] where she appears in [[Madoka]]'s dream. She isn't given any name in her first appearance. This led to some speculations about the witch's identity before it was finally revealed in [[Episode 10]] as Walpurgisnacht. It is revealed that Walpurgisnacht will always attack on a set date during [[Homura]]'s time loops. Homura uses the month to not only protect Madoka but also try to prepare to defeat the witch. Homura is the only one aware of the attack because of the first timeline.

Walpurgisnacht kills [[Mami]] and Madoka in timeline 1 from episode 10 which causes Homura to contract. In timeline 2 and 4 Madoka is able to defeat Walpurgisnacht but the grief from it causes her [[Soul Gem]] to turn black and she transforms into a witch. In timeline 3 both Madoka and Homura defeat Walpurgisnacht but both their Soul Gems still darken.

In [[Episode 11]] Walpurgisnacht arrives in the current timeline and the city is evacuated as they think it's a storm. Homura begins to fight the witch with a large arsenal of weapons but they never seem to do damage. Homura is eventually shot down and runs out of time in her shield. With her leg crushed and all hope left her Soul Gem begins to darken but Madoka arrives and finally declares she's decided on a wish. Madoka wishes to destroy all witches and finally becomes a magical girl. The clouded sky clears and Madoka promises Walpurgisnacht she doesn't have to feel sorrow and pain anymore. The shots from Madoka's bow destroys Walpurgisnacht's humanoid form leaving only the cog left. As Madoka finishes her off, the familiars dance around the cog.

Patricia and her familiars appear in [[Episode 10]]. They're seen fighting [[Mami]], [[Homura]] and [[Madoka]]. Patricia attacks by sending Mathieu flying out of her skirt. Mami uses her ribbons to join together the clotheslines of the labyrinth so the girls can fight more easily. Homura defeats Patricia by pausing time and throwing a pipe bomb up her skirt.

Only Patricia's familiars: Mathieu reappear in [[The Rebellion Story]]. They're seen fighting against the [[Clara Dolls]] to protect Madoka and [[Nagisa]].

===Madoka Magica Portable===
Patricia and her familiars reappear in the game [[Madoka Magica Portable]] as enemies. There is a new type of Mathieu in the game that looks more like a teacher. Patricia appears in [[Magia Record Episode 14: I Had a Feeling We Could All Become Magical Girls Together|Episode 14]] of the [[Magia Record Anime]]. She first appears at the beginning with all three girls fighting her however they fail and have to escape. The next day, Homura finds Patricia's labyrinth again with witch kissed humans outside. She decides to fight Patricia alone to save them. Both Homura and Madoka initially struggle before Sayaka arrives. They decide they can fight together even though they all know the truth about magical girls and witches and are able to defeat Patricia.

Noticeably, the barrier now isn't just cables and clouds, but also contains arms that sprouts out from the pillars, in which the design is also carried onto later games like Magia Exedra

Patricia and Mathieu appear in [[Magia Exedra]]. They appear in the [[Magia Exedra Main Quests|Main Quest]] Chairperson Witch. Mathieu also appear in the [[Magia Exedra Events|event quest]] Steady Steps Forward: Magical Girls Dreams. There are new sections to Patricia's labyrinth: an area with a solid cloudy floor and telephone poles; a stormy area with a cloudy floor, tornadoes and lightning; and an area that resembles the first but with strings of school shirts hung up.

*As shown in episode 10, she appeared in 2nd timeline, and was defeated by Mami, Madoka and Homura. But the cover of [[Blu-Ray Volume 5 Booklet|Blu-Ray Volume 5]] shows all 5 magical girls fighting against her. It is suspected that she also appears in other timelines.
**This is confirmed in episode 14 of Magia Record, where she is shown being beaten by Madoka, Sayaka and Homura.
*Patricia is the feminine version of the name Patrick which comes form the word Patrician. In Ancient Rome, the class of Patricians is known as the high-class of Ancient Rome. This might refer to how her profile indicates that she was a class representative before becoming a Witch.

* In the TBS version of the anime broadcast, spider-like patterns are added to the underside of Patricia's skirt. This appearance has been a mainstay since [[Madoka Online]].

Gisela and her familiars appear in [[Episode 7]] in a flashback scene. She appears fighting [[Kyoko]] as she describes how her father would protect the world up front, and she would do so in the shadows, defeating witches. Gisela isn't shown being defeated though, and her [[Grief Seed]] is never shown in the anime.

===Madoka Magica Portable===
Gisela and her familiars make a reappearance in [[Madoka Magica Portable]] with an arguably more fleshed out appearance than their anime debut. A second form for Gisela is now shown: her Motorcycle form. This seems to be her dazzling silver form before she became tarnished (most likely her Rust form) as described in her witch card. Gisela can be fought in [[Madoka Magica Portable Mami Route|Mami's Route]] and [[Madoka Magica Portable Kyoko Route|Kyoko's Route]] and Dora can be fought in any mysterious witches barriers.

===The Rebellion Story===
While Gisela doesn't make an appearance in [[The Rebellion Story]], her familiars do briefly. One appears as a part of [[Sayaka]]'s orchestra.

===Magia Exedra===
Gisela and Dora appear in [[Magia Exedra]]. They appear in the [[Magia Exedra Main Quests|Main Quest]] Silver Witch.

==Observation==
*In the anime version of the events, it is assumed that Gisela was defeated at the hands of Kyoko in her flashback for the timeline of the anime where Madoka makes her wish to destroy all witches. However, in the [[Madoka Magica Portable|Madoka PSP game]], Gisela can be defeated at two different times. One, by Kyoko in her route in the past, to protect her family. Or two, she can be defeated by Mami in her route, during a time period after Madoka has contracted, with or without Madoka's assistance. Both routes are clearly different timelines, as events unfold in a completely different manner, such as Mami dying to Charlotte before the start of Kyoko's route. Since game events differ from the anime, e.g. it's impossible to exactly recreate the events of the main timeline of the anime, discrepancies can easily be attributed to differing timelines. In the anime, there are examples of differences across timelines such as Oktavia having different familiars or Kyousuke playing violin in one and the guitar in another. The same logic seems to apply with the game. Fans have generated speculation on two different appearances by Gisela in the game.
::While Kyoko has an impressive fight against Gisela, the flashback doesn't show the outcome of the battle, making it ambiguous enough to determine with certainty if Kyoko did kill her after all. In the game it is unambiguous as Kyoko kills her in her route.
::The events are taking place in an alternative universe, a world where Gisela never fought Kyoko. There is precedent for this: <i>(see: [[Speculah:Magical_Powers#Travel_to_Parallel_Universes|Speculah: Parallel Universes]])</i>
::It is possible that Gisela was actually defeated, but her Grief Seed hatched again at a later time.
::It is suggested that one of Gisela's familiars survived and became a Witch, becoming a new Gisela in its place. Or, the witch Kyoko defeated might be even a grown-up of another familiar. However, we don't know if familiars turn into the same witch or if they become their own witches.
::A more likely explanation is that for pragmatic and development reasons, they chose to re-use existing witches rather than make more witches, or they didn't care about continuity between game routes. It is possible the developers wanted to give players the experience of fighting the known witches from the Madoka universe

** Dora may instead be named after [[wikipedia:Dora_Stock|Dora Stock]], a German portrait artist whose home frequently made guests of notable contemporary artists, musicians, and writers, including Goethe. A teenage Goethe visited Stock's home frequently when she was a child, and was given art lessons by her father. Goethe in turn taught young Stock about theater and held household performances in which she took part. However, his presence was typically disruptive and upsetting, he had Stock and her sister serve as lookouts while he entertained female company, and (to the family's concerns) took Stock's father out drinking in Auerbachs Keller, a scene that would later be immortalized in ''Faust''

==Trivia==
* According to commentary from Inu Curry in the official [[Guidebook]], the Doras play the [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWqKPWO5T4o Godfather theme] from their exhaust pipes
* Dora in the original tv broadcast shared the same arms as Gisela. In the BD and movie version she has newly designed arms and the addition of trumpet shaped parts.
* The black smoke on Gisela's body is significantly bigger in [[Magia Record]] than in other media, perhaps to reflect her size depicted in anime scenes. Her sprite is also extremely similar to the one used in [[Madoka Magica Mobage]] but with a more massive body.
* Magia Exedra is the first appearance where Gisela is standing (excluding her Motorbike form) as she either lacks legs or appears to be sitting in her previous appearances.
* Gisela's expanded labyrinth in Magia Exedra contains a parody/reference of Taiko no Tatsujin, shown on a sign. See [[Witch Runes/Magia Exedra]] for more details.
** The labyrinth also contains even more traffic-themed elements, such as a road sign prohibiting the use of Soul Gems. The design of it from Level 2 also resembles its Portable design, as shown by the city on the background while on a road moving at high speed.

===Original Anime===
Charlotte first appears in [[Episode 3]]. Her [[Grief Seed]] appears outside the hospital [[Kyosuke Kamijo]] is staying in, [[Madoka]] notices it whilst leaving with [[Sayaka]]. Sayaka stays by the Grief Seed while Madoka goes to find [[Mami]]. Mami and Madoka venture into the labyrinth together to save Sayaka and defeat the witch. Polina are shown in the labyrinth but never fought, however Pyotr are. When Mami and Madoka reach the deepest part of the labyrinth, Mami appears to beat the witch Charlotte however the witch reveals she hasn't been defeated by revealing her second form and decapitating Mami. She then proceeds to eat her, killing her. Before the witch can get to the other girls, [[Homura]] arrives and kills the witch with her time manipulations skills and explosives.

===The Rebellion Story===
Charlotte reappears in [[The Rebellion Story]] though with a slightly new appearance and the name 'Bebe'. She lives with Mami and joins the girls in their battles. [[Homura]] soon realises something's wrong as she remembers Charlotte being their enemy. Bebe quickly reveals herself to Mami to be the {{Spoiler|magical girl [[Nagisa Momoe]] and while fighting Homulilly, explains how she and Sayaka are reborn as part of the law of cycles and act as secretaries for Ultimate Madoka, hence why both of them can use their witch forms, albeit in different ways. Bebe is able to transform from witch form to magical girl form freely,}} as well as using her witch forms second form - though sometimes with a slightly altered appearance. She is also able to summon Pyotr, however they don't seem to be able to do much. Charlotte's original appearance in Episode 3 makes a cameo as Homura reminisces about witches as well as in photographs of Charlotte turning into Bebe with Mami.

===Manga===
Charlotte and Bebe reappear in the [[Madoka Magica Manga|original manga]] and [[Rebellion Manga]] with little differences.

Charlotte makes an appearance in [[The Different Story]] where the scene from Episode 3 plays out with Mami however Sayaka intercepts and saves Mami.

The witch makes cameos in [[Puella Magi Oriko Magica]] and its [[Puella Magi Oriko Magica: Extra Story|Extra Story]]. She further appears in [[Welcome to Café Grief Seed!]] as the Spitting Witch who acts as an arrogant and rude customer to the cafe.

===Madoka Online===
The angel-like Pyotr is described as specializing in preserving/storing (depending on translation) the cheese.

===Madoka Magica Portable===
Charlotte and her familiars reappear in [[Madoka Magica Portable]]. They appear in [[Madoka Magica Portable Madoka Route|Madoka's Route]], [[Madoka Magica Portable Mami Route|Mami's Route]], [[Madoka Magica Portable Sayaka Route|Sayaka's Route]] and [[Madoka Magica Portable Homura Route|Homura's Route]]. She also serves as the boss on the final floor of the Mysterious witch's barrier: the Sufficiency barrier.

When fighting her, she will always have both her forms as a boss fight. In [[Madoka Magica Portable Madoka Route|Madoka's Route]], you start as Mami to fight her first form then have to play as Homura for her second form, in line with the anime story. Her Grief Seed can be collected to cleanse a magical girl's Soul Gem during battle.

===Magia Record===
Charlotte appears as an enemy witch but also as Nagisa Momoe's doppel. Her witch description is the same as the original anime.

She may behave in a shameful manner at times, but in her heart is a well of deep love. The Doppel does not fuse with its host; rather, it emerges as a mask from her nose, which then covers her face completely. The host does not move while her Doppel is present. Instead she sits completely still and stares as though she were staring at the object of her obsession.

The master of this emotion always misidentifies the target of her tenacious attachment. Upon seeing a chocolate cake, she’ll surrender to its luscious brown temptation and try to swallow it whole, but will find her stomach filled with milk-white no-bake cheesecake instead.
This Doppel sometimes responds to its master’s desire by deliberately going for the cheesecake in the first place, but on these occasions alone, it finds its stomach filled with actual baked cheesecake.

The Doppel of tenacity. Its form is soda.
The master of this emotion doesn’t want to go back home, and is trying to create one last, great summer memory.
Her Doppel resonates with its master, and wants to soak everything around it in a young, verdant summer hue.
It sucks the carbonated juice that surrounds it into its mouth, then sprays it and lets it pop absolutely everywhere. Everything the juice touches practically bursts with fun: people bursting into motion, personalities bursting with joy, hairstyles bursting with individuality, et cetera. No matter what scene results from the Doppel’s influence, everyone gets high on the carbonated scent, and there’s nary a scream of terror or pain to be heard.
Incidentally, the Doppel seems to dislike sparkler fireworks, as they seem to declare the end of summer.

=====Pyotr=====
Minions of the witch of sweets. Their role is to search for cheese.
You shouldn’t expect too much from them, though.
They came to [[Kamihama City|Kamihama]] in search of cheese, hailing from a place called [[Mitakihara City|Mitakihara]].
Their faces are actually stamps. They’ll headbutt anything that moves, instantly determining whether or not it’s cheese and marking it with either a “Cheese Approval Stamp” or a “Not-Cheese Stamp”.
Since they didn’t have much luck finding cheese in their master’s barrier, they expanded their search radius to outside the barrier. (They got kicked out, in a sense.) Even if they succeed in finding some cheese, though, it’s a little doubtful as to whether they remember the route back home.

見滝原という場所からチーズを捜すため神浜までやって来た。

She appears fighting [[Kyoko]] as she describes how her father would protect the world up front, and she would do so in the shadows, defeating witches. Gisela isn't shown being defeated though, and her [[Grief Seed]] is never shown in the anime.

===Madoka Magica Portable===
Gisela and her familiars make a reappearance in [[Madoka Magica Portable]] with an arguably more fleshed out appearance than their anime debut. A second form for Gisela is now shown: her Motorcycle form. This seems to be her dazzling silver form before she became tarnished (most likely her Rust form) as described in her witch card. Gisela can be fought in [[Madoka Magica Portable Mami Route|Mami's Route]] and [[Madoka Magica Portable Kyoko Route|Kyoko's Route]] and Dora can be fought in any mysterious witches barriers.

Gisela and Dora appear in [[Magia Exedra]]. They appear in the [[Magia Exedra Main Quests|Main Quest]] Silver Witch.

==Observation==
*In the anime version of the events, it is assumed that Gisela was defeated at the hands of Kyoko in her flashback for the timeline of the anime where Madoka makes her wish to destroy all witches. However, in the [[Madoka Magica Portable|Madoka PSP game]], Gisela can be defeated at two different times. One, by Kyoko in her route in the past, to protect her family. Or two, she can be defeated by Mami in her route, during a time period after Madoka has contracted, with or without Madoka's assistance. Both routes are clearly different timelines, as events unfold in a completely different manner, such as Mami dying to Charlotte before the start of Kyoko's route. Since game events differ from the anime, e.g. it's impossible to exactly recreate the events of the main timeline of the anime, discrepancies can easily be attributed to differing timelines. In the anime, there are examples of differences across timelines such as Oktavia having different familiars or Kyousuke playing violin in one and the guitar in another. The same logic seems to apply with the game. Fans have generated speculation on two different appearances by Gisela in the game.
::While Kyoko has an impressive fight against Gisela, the flashback doesn't show the outcome of the battle, making it ambiguous enough to determine with certainty if Kyoko did kill her after all. In the game it is unambiguous as Kyoko kills her in her route.
::The events are taking place in an alternative universe, a world where Gisela never fought Kyoko. There is precedent for this: <i>(see: [[Speculah:Magical_Powers#Travel_to_Parallel_Universes|Speculah: Parallel Universes]])</i>
::It is possible that Gisela was actually defeated, but her Grief Seed hatched again at a later time.
::It is suggested that one of Gisela's familiars survived and became a Witch, becoming a new Gisela in its place. Or, the witch Kyoko defeated might be even a grown-up of another familiar. However, we don't know if familiars turn into the same witch or if they become their own witches.

* Dora in the original tv broadcast shared the same arms as Gisela. In the BD and movie version she has newly designed arms and the addition of trumpet shaped parts.
* The black smoke on Gisela's body is significantly bigger in [[Magia Record]] than in other media, perhaps to reflect her size depicted in anime scenes. Her sprite is also extremely similar to the one used in [[Madoka Magica Mobage]] but with a more massive body.
* Magia Exedra is the first appearance where Gisela is standing (excluding her Motorbike form) as she either lacks legs or appears to be sitting in her previous appearances.

Izabel seems to speak to Homura, making her think about committing suicide. Homura quickly realises she's wandered into Izabel's barrier and is approached by her familiars. She is saved by [[Madoka]] and [[Mami]] who defeat Izabel and her familiars with a combined attack.

She has new parts of her labyrinth: a black hall with floating paintings from the real world, with some melting onto the floor; and an area with the Guernica ground but a covered ceiling.

*There is a possibility that a witch's speaking can be understood only by people who have been targeted by her.
*Her barrier seems to be art-related. For example, the patterns Homura walks over before being engulfed by her barrier bear a striking resemblance Pablo Picasso's ''[[wikipedia:Guernica_(painting)|Guernica]]'', and Izabel is killed while bound to a facsimile of the ''[[wikipedia:Arc_de_Triomphe|Arc de Triomphe]]''.
* In the Portable games, portions of her barrier looks like a abandoned terrarium / museum. However in [[Magia Exedra]] this was changed to be floating paintings.
*Her name may have been derived from Princess [[wikipedia:Izabela_Czartoryska|Izabela Czartoryska]], founder of the first Polish museum.
* She could also been based on [[wikipedia:Isabella d'Este|Isabella d'Este]], the italian marchioness of Mantua and a patron of the arts as well as a leader of fashion and her innovative style of dressing was emulated by many women in the italian Renaissance.
* The familiar's name may be a reference to [[Wikipedia:Michelangelo|Michelangelo]].
** Curiously, Michelangelo's statue, The Sleeping Cupid, was bought by Isabella d'Este.
* The new Michaela familiars from [[Madoka Magica Portable]] resemble the painting [[Wikipedia:The_Scream|The Scream]].

==Trivia==
* Izabel is voiced by Rei Matsuzaki.
* In her debut, Izabel's name appeared as Isadel, however the witch card that was released later corrected her name to be Izabel.
** However, in later games such as Magia Record, "Isadel" still remains labelled on her relief.
* Izabel seems to be able to speak, being the only witch who spoke something so far (Except [[Elly]] who could speak with back-masking). The Production Notes, however, states that the Witch's words are spoken by her Familiars.
* The new Michaela's variants shown in [[Magia Record]] are similar to one of the scraped designs of them seen in the Puella Magi Production Note.
* While the Puella Magi Production Note states that Izabel attacks either by inflicting mental damage or sending out Familiars as attacks, games such as Portable and The Battle Pentagram depicts her having more flexible and erratic movements.
* In all the mobile games and the official guide note book of Madoka Magica her name is credited as "Isabel" instead of "Izabel" shown in her official card image.

The palm tree boasts high accuracy and it can target and hit a lone enemy repeatedly. Consider it an improvement.

In commemoration of the couple, some call the herbs 'Mañjusaka' (Simplified Chinese:曼珠沙华; Traditional Chinese: 曼珠沙華), a mixture of 'Mañju' and 'Saka', instead of their scientific name. The same name is used in Japanese, in which it is pronounced ''manjushage''.

Some other legends have it that when you see someone that you may never meet again, these flowers, also called red spider lilies, would bloom along the path. Perhaps because of these sorrowful legends, Japanese people often used these flowers in funerals. The popular Japanese name {{nihongo|''Higanbana''|彼岸花|Higan bana}} for lycoris radiata literally means [[wikipedia:higan|higan]] (the other or that shore of [[wikipedia:Sanzu_River|Sanzu River]]) flower, decorate and enjoyable, flower of afterlife in {{nihongo|''gokuraku jyōdo''|極楽浄土|gokuraku jyōdo}}.

The significance of red lillies is interpreted as the eternal separation of two friends/lovers; a relationship forced to be separated by obstacles, circumstances, and outside forces. This is interpreted as Homura's failure to reunite with Madoka as they are both doomed to fail to break the cycle of despair. The myth about the two lovers never meeting again, despite promising one another, reinforces the idea that to Homura, Madoka means more than just mere friendship.

===Broken Tooth Symbolism===
In {{spoiler|The Rebellion Story}} the witch has a new appearance, and is clad in an ornate dress resembling Homura's magical girl outfit. While she initially retains her record player-like witch hat from the PSP game, she quickly discards it to reveal a giant spider lily that replaces the top half of her head. Teeth constantly fall from the spider lily, like water droplets or tears.

This relates to the biblical depiction of Bruxism as sinners wailing and gnashing their teeth in hell.

:It also preludes Homura's eventual transformation into a {{spoiler|demon}} since her witch represents {{spoiler|a sinner and she is the first magical girl to sin and rebel against}} {{spoiler|goddess Madoka}} declaring herself to be {{spoiler|a force of evil}}.

It could also relate to the Nutcracker Ballet; in the story the nutcracker was once a human who was transformed into a nut cracker and later given as a gift a Christmas party where he was damaged, the girl felt sad for him and took care of him, then when the mice attacked he came to life and defended the girl. Similarly Homura started out as a normal girl and was held back by her heart condition, then she befriended Madoka and the others and became a Magical Girl and grew stronger with the intent of protecting Madoka; which would be similar to the role reversal in the ballet. However since Madoka died in most of the timelines until she finally ended up as a part of the universe, Homura could see herself as still being the damaged nutcracker doll who can't protect the girl who helped her or even fulfill her most basic purpose.

Itzli makes her debut in [[Madoka Magica Portable]]. She is the final boss of the Oblivious barrier on floor 50. She doesn't have her own familiars and uses the shadow magical girls of [[Walpurgisnacht]]. Her barrier is a grassy landscape just like [[Quitterie]]'s but has the addition of film reels and a deep hole that she emerges from.

===SLOT Puella Magi Madoka Magica 2===
Itzli makes a reappearance in SLOT Puella Magi Madoka Magica 2 as a boss [[Homura]] can fight. In this game, Itzli's labyrinth looks like a movie theatre yet the area where she is battled is the same as its appearance in Portable. The heads of magical girls such as Mami can be seen in the seats when Homura walks through but they never move and Homura never interacts with them. When the battle with Itzli begins, a screen at the back of her labyrinth will rapidly scroll past pictures of various traumatic moments in Homura's life, before settling on the image of Itzli, pulsating in wait. Instead of using Walpurgisnacht's familiars, in this game she uses [[Adelbert]], [[Gotz]], [[Sebastian]] and [[Mathieu]]. She can even summon both [[Charlotte]] and [[Izabel]] to block attacks for her. Homura can either kill Itzli with a strong attack or the other magical girls will arrive to help finish Itzli off.

==Observations==
* Because of the Witch's information, it is suspected that Itzli was a magical girl from another planet, an alien magical girl.
*Her use of other witch's familiars, reels of characters' memories within her barrier, her desire to forget all magical girls, and her identity as the witch of Oblivion ("the fact or condition of not remembering or not being remembered") may indicate that Itzli, and even her magical girl form, possesses memory-related powers.
*When Itzli summons witches and familiars in SLOT, they have a distorted and washed-out film grain effect to them. When she summons proper witches, the yellow bulbs poking out of her brain will glow, potentially implying that such a thing takes more energy for the witch to do.
*Itzli also has the ability to grow large hands from the gelatinous substance surrounding her brain, and she uses them both to backhand her opponents and crush them as attacks.
** In addition, her death animation from Portable is reused as a proper attack as well. Her surrounding mass turns into an arrow and launches far into the sky, before coming down to crush Homura with her brain.
*In SLOT Puella Magi Madoka Magica 2, Kyubey has several lines relating to Itzli:
** Itzli's magic is different from that of any other witch on Earth. Thanks to this, she was never found before Homura entered her barrier.
** Itzli is able to watch people through all the clovers in the world (which explains the clovers in her design and witch kiss)
**Itzli has been gathering power while observing magical girls from all places and eras.
** Itzli can summon other witches and familiars from memories. In SLOT they're shown to look slighty blurry, unlike in Portable.
** Kyubey believes that the reason Itzli has become so strong is thanks to Homura. The exact meaning of this is unclear, though it may be speculated that she has the ability to retain memories/information across Homura's repeated reversal of time, or to extract that information from Homura herself. If so, Itzli would then have been able to repeatedly observe the same events across multiple timelines, as well as gain new information from any differences she otherwise would have never witnessed.
*** Homura remarks that Kyubey seems to know a lot about a witch that's supposedly never been found before. She also comments that though Itzli may keep watch on the outside world, "at least she never meddles with it."

Like all glass and some other types of naturally occurring rocks, obsidian breaks with a characteristic conchoidal fracture. It was also polished to create early mirrors such as the ones used in Aztec shamanic rituals.
* In [[Madoka Magica Portable]], Itzli uses shadow magical girls as familiars, identical to those used by [[Walpurgisnacht]]. She also uses the Red-nose and Blue-nose familiars of Walpurgisnacht.
** In the Pachinco Slot Madoka Magica 2 it's shown that Iztli has the ability to summon familiars and even witches fought by Homura in the anime.
* Upon her death, she launches into the sky like a rocket and explodes.
