Summary
A Magical Girl who lives for love and romance. Even though she's had the same crush for so long, she still gets too embarrassed to talk when she sees him. Her greatest secret? A notebook of fantasies where she tells him her feelings and date night plans.
Side Story
Aimi is overjoyed to find a boy named Hayato loves her back. She imagines a romantic encounter with him, and decides to write it down in her "Secret Daydreams Notebook". She admits it's a bad hobby, but she can't stop. Suddenly she stumbles into a witch barrier and finds herself attacked by a witch. Aimi thinks about giving up, but decides she can't be afraid. Suddenly Natsuki Utsuho shows up and cheers her on. Natsuki introduces herself and says she'll fight alongside Aimi.
Aimi defeats the witch and thanks Natsuki. Aimi reveals that Natsuki is the first other magical girl she has met and invites her for tea to talk magical girls. At the cafe, Natsuki explains she's the manager for her school's baseball team. Aimi asks if there are any boys she's interested in. Natsuki says they're just friends. Aimi says she likes talking about romance and invites Natsuki to come to her if she ever finds someone. Natuski then asks Aimi to bring up what she wanted to talk about. Aimi says it's about her wish.
Aimi explains that ever since middle school, she's been in love with a boy named Hayato Isesaki. Aimi narrates that the thing she likes most about him is that he does kind things without being noticed, like putting lost keychains in the desks of people who lost them. However, Aimi had trouble talking to him. Natsuki says she also feels nervous talking to other boys as well, unless they're from the baseball team. Aimi then says she tried to ask around to see if Hayato had a girlfriend, but no-one seemed to know.
Then, while Aimi was writing about her daydreams, Kyubey appeared. Thinking she was still daydreaming, Aimi made her wish: "Please tell me how he feels". Natsuki is shocked by this, but Aimi says it was alright because Hayato likes her too. Natsuki says Aimi must have confessed to Hayato, but Aimi says she didn't and is waiting for the right time. Aimi then just starts narrating an imagined confession scenario, to Natsuki's confusion. Aimi apologizes, but Natsuki says it's fine, and that Aimi loves with her whole heart.
Natsuki cheers on Aimi, saying she'll invite Hayato out next time. Aimi feels relieved, but then sees her notebook is gone. Aimi is worried that Hayato might have found it, and Natsuki volunteers to help. Natsuki suggests backtracking to find the notebook. The girls do so, ultimately arriving at Aimi's school. Aimi finds that Hayato is there and is horrified to see he's holding her notebook. Natsuki then points out that Hayato has been witched kissed. Aimi says she won't forgive anyone for laying a hand on Hayato.
The girls track down the witch's barrier. Aimi tears into the familiars and witch. Afterward, the girls check on Hayato, who is unconscious but alright. Aimi is worried that Hayato saw her book, and explains to Natsuki it's her daydream journal. Natsuki says that if Hayato is the person Aimi loves, he wouldn't look in her notebook without permission. Aimi is forced to agree. Natsuki tells Aimi not to lose to herself. Aimi then says she'll confess.
Suddenly, Hayato awakens. Aimi asks if he's alright, and Hayato thanks her for looking after him. Aimi attempts to confess, but blurts out that Hayato has her notebook. Hayato says it's lucky he ran into her then, and says he didn't know who it belonged to because he didn't want to look inside. Aimi is so relieved she forgets her confession and bids Hayato goodbye. Natsuki telepathically contacts Aimi and asks what happened. Aimi says the moment got away from her. Natsuki thinks that at this rate Aimi will never confess. Aimi is still relieved that all her worries are still there.

Winter Outfit
Aimi has invited Kokoro Awane over to her place to learn how to knit. She’d always wanted to give her crush Hayato-kun a classic winter present, a hand-knit scarf, but she’s never learned how to knit. When Kokoro found out, she offered to teach her. Kokoro asks her to try knitting by herself but Aimi isn’t even sure how to start. Kokoro says they should start with learning how to hold the needles. After a good amount of time has passed, Aimi has managed to learn how to hold the needles and is just able to knit and purl. Kokoro says the rest is just practice and repetition. A few days later, Aimi is still hard at work on her knitted scarf. She wonders if the scarf is long enough yet for her to bind the loops the way Kokoro taught her and soon she slips in to another daydream about Hayato-kun. This time she daydreams about how she’ll finally hand him a Christmas present and then he opens it to find it’s a scarf. Hayato immediately falls in love with Aimi when he learns that she made it herself. Aimi realizes she lost herself in another daydream before pushing herself to focus again and gets back to her knitting.
After some time Aimi has finally finished the scarf. With the help of Kokoro, Aimi binds the last loops and casts them off the needles. Since there was so much extra thread left over, Kokoro tried knitting a cable-knit hat and offers it to Aimi to keep. As much as Kokoro loves to knit, she’s always wondering what to make so she’s happy with Aimi keeping the hat. Aimi then realizes that the hat will match the clothes she bought perfectly and gets dressed in her new outfit. Aimi gets lost in another daydream for a moment before remembering the scarf she made for Hayato. Eventually, she runs into Hayato “coincidentally” and the two stand awkwardly discussing the weather. Aimi was too nervous to give him the scarf in the end and ended up staying in her room until spring.
