The detail of a Sayaka route, which is different from the anime, is revealed.

The scenario is supervised by Gen Urobuchi who wrote the script of the anime. But there are multiple different 'if' development. There is a different 'Sayaka route', in which it is possible to prevent Sayaka becoming a witch. She may fight with other magical girls and enjoy a bitter-sweet event with Kyousuke.

Familiars can grow up to a witch by eating people. Maybe this witch is coming from the familiar escaped from Sayaka's attack.

About Kyousuke's words

As far as I know, if someone transformed into a magical girl, even her friends won't recognize her unless they know magical girl. Such setting is common in many magical girl genre. So I suspect that's why Kyousuke thinks she's not Sayaka. Yorkwoo 16:37, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

It's not like that in Madoka Magica though. Sayaka and Madoka have no problem identifying Homura in her MG outfit in episode 1. Sayaka even thinks Homura's cosplaying. --randomanon 16:41, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
