Gertrud

Gertrud (GERTRUD) is a witch born from negative emotions, who loves roses more than anything else--her barrier is full of them. She uses humans' life energy to feed her roses and hates humans entering her barrier. Her minions are Anthony and Adelbert. She and her barrier are presented in a surreal manner with bizarre cut-and-paste-style photo collages. She also seems to like mustaches as both of her minions have some. The special page has confirmed that the mustaches are set by the witch herself. Her "body" has parts from a butterfly, and butterflies are seen in her barrier at many points.

Japanese	薔薇園の魔女。性質は不信。なによりも薔薇が大事。その力の全ては美しい薔薇のために。結界に迷い込んだ人間の生命力を奪い薔薇に分け与えているが、人間に結界内を踏み荒らされることは大嫌い。
English	The witch of the rose garden. Her nature is distrustful. Roses are more important to her than anything else. She uses all of her power for the sake of beautiful roses. She steals the life force from humans who get lost in her barrier and shares it with the roses, but she hates her barrier being trodden and ruined by humans.

In Episode 1 they are seen surrounding Sayaka and Madoka (for an unknown reason) and yelling the following German phrases in a distorted manner:

Japanese	Das sind mir unbekannte Blumen. Ja, sie sind mir auch unbekannt. Schneiden wir sie ab. Ja schneiden doch sie ab. Die Rosen schenken wir unserer Königin.
English	Those are unknown flowers to me. Yes, they are unknown to me too. Let's cut them off. Yes, let's just cut them off. We present the roses to our queen.

The card on the official website describes them reads:

Japanese	魔女の手下。その役割は造園。 おヒゲは魔女にセットしてもらう。
English	The witch's minions. Their duty is landscaping. Their mustaches are set by the witch.

  When Antonies dies only their upper body disappears, the bottom butterfly-part just flies away and Gertrud burst into butterflies when Mami killed her.

Adelbert (ADELBERT)

Adelbert

Adelberts appear in episode 2. They are the main enemies of Mami in the barrier. Mami has no difficulty defeating them.

Japanese	薔薇園の魔女の手下。 その役割は警戒。人間を見つけると、ベルのような警戒音を鳴らし、容赦ない頭突きを食らわせる。視力は 2.5。 小さなタイプは侵入者を阻む薔薇の蔦に変身可能。
English	The underlings of the witch of the rose garden. Their role is to give warnings. When they see humans, they ring their warning bell and headbutt without mercy. They have 20/8 (2.5) vision. The small type can be turned into a vine of roses to thwart intruders.
