Himena Aika is the one of the original characters of the 2017 mobile game Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story: Magia Record. She is the leader of the Neo-Magius whose members include Hagumu Azumi and Shigure Miyabi.

As a result of her wish, the consciousness or soul of her boyfriend now resides in her mind after he had committed suicide, allowing them to mentally communicate.
Himena's unique magic allows her to "synthesize" or "fuse" the unique magic of other Magical Girls for a limited time (approximately one hour) by making physical contact with each one involved. She can use this ability to transfer one Magical Girl's unique magic to another, such as when she transferred Hagumu Azumi's increased strength against Witches to Shigure Miyabi.
It can thus be theorized that her wish allows her to access people's souls, not dissimilar from what Adjustors do. Similarly, Adjustment gives Magical Girls access to the Connect ability, allowing them to share their elemental magic through physical contact.
Etymology
- The characters of her last name mean "indigo" (藍) and "house" (家) respectively.
Trivia
- She is the only character to use a pronoun followed by a suffix that is not her own name. In this case, it means something among the lines of "the cute me", "this cutie" or "my cute self".
- Before she was formally introduced, she was only known through her silhouette in the Arc 2 logo. Fans started referring to her as 'Orihime' or just 'hime' due to this silhouette before knowing her name.
- Her design also has some relations to Legend of Orihime(織姫), specifically her hairstyle and traditional Japanese clothing.
- Also, Hiko-kun, her imaginary boyfriend is speculated to be Hoshihiko(星彦) or Hikoboshi(彦星) from the same japanese fairy tale by fans.
