Doppel Description

Ukei, the combined doppel of the Azalea trio

The Doppel of sworn oaths. Its form is kitsune-ken. The masters of this emotion had long acted as a makeshift family with restrictions placed on one another, but by accepting each other as individuals, they have now truly become one. This Doppel is bound together within the rules of a three-way tie, like a polymer that can never break apart, and is proof that its masters’ hearts are united as one. As such, it’s not only stronger and sturdier than a boulder, but also boasts enough persistence and decisiveness to charge forward until its life burns out, and doesn’t falter in the slightest even when acting purely on instinct. This is likewise evident in how it wields swords of vast length. Though the swords may be heavy and their movements slow, somehow none are able to escape being crushed by them.

• Ayame Mikuri is heavily featured in both the card art, Magia, and Doppel attack. The only thing Ayame doesn't feature in is the battle sprite and in the name, essentially making this unit the first unofficial trio unit in the game.
  • In the 4* artwork, she is missing her pigtails.
• Ukei is a divination ritual of shintoism. In particular, an ukei performed by Amaterasu and Susanoo gave birth to Tagorihime, Tagitsuhime and Ichikishimahime, the basis of the orphanage trio's doppels.
• They, Tsuruno・Felicia (Delivery Girl ver.) and Amane Sisters (Swimsuit ver.) are currently the only dual units who actually summon their Doppels rather than use a second Magia attack, although Tsuruno and Felicia's is still considered a second magia by the game.
