You're Not Strong At All is the eighth episode of Magia Record Anime Season 2.

Summary

When injuried Tsuruno stands up again and yells that she's strongest, Yachiyo knows her failure. Connection with Tsuruno is refused. Madoka feels they will hurt Mami if they try it, too. Uwasas of soldier bears appear everywhere so they can't retreat, either. In the hotel Fandthope, Touka is angry and saying she won't forgive them since Tsuruno is blowed so brutely. Nemu asks why it become so.

Iroha wants Yachiyo to try again. Yachiyo refuses since it won't work. She never try to understand Tsuruno. Tsuruno rushes to attack Yachiyo, so Iroha goes to protect Yachiyo.

Suddenly Iroha finds herself in a theater. Yachiyo, as an actress, speaks that she feels Tsuruno should be understood by her. Though it is not the case. Tsuruno, as another actress, shows up in the other side, tells watchers that she should and must be energinetic and strong. Mel gets up by Iroha's side, saying that according to her fortune telling, it is her most fortune day today. Yachiyo urges her not to tell fortune any more.

In the evening, there was so many customers in Banbanzai that Tsuruno was busy bringing meals to them. Yachiyo called her in the phone, told her a witch was found. But she then determined that they could win. It was no need for Tsuruno to come. However, when Tsuruno came to Mikazuki villa later, she was told Mel's death. Although Yachiyo, Momoko and Mifuyu tried to comfort her, Tsuruno believed that she is not trusted and too weak. She also blamed Mel's death caused by her absency.

After some days, She was told Mifuyu missing. Momoko was also busy training new novice magical girls. She believed that she must be much stronger, or her friends will be gone. She fought minions and witches alone or with Yachiyo. She was tired but still force herself. When Iroha came to Banbanzai first time, she got up quickly and had smile on her. But on that day she went to the memorial museum, she discovered that one witch (Etteilla) she killed is actually Mel's witch form. She was heart broken, calling Mel to forgive her. She hopes no more magical girls to become witches so she accepts alteration by Touka and Nemu. Returning to reality, Yachiyo and Iroha find they successfully connects to Tsuruno, and know what actually happened.

Tsuruno attacks them again, only being stopped by a huge hammer of Felicia. Felicia retorts Tsuruno not being strong at all. She also tells Yachiyo so. Knowing her mistake, Yachiyo determines to try connecting again. Iroha asks her how she expects Tsuruno to be when Tsuruno returns. Yachiyo answers that they all not need to be strong. Just help each other.

Homura almost run out of her bullets fighting uwasa bears and witches. Suddenly a witch is slipped by appearing Momoko. Mifuyu also shows up to help them. They hold the back so Iroha and Yachiyo can fight Tsuruno. Felicia and Sana connects to make a chained hammer to fixate Tsuruno. Yachiyo and Iroha success recovering Tsuruno this time. Madoka and Sayaka then link to rescue Mami, and they do it, too. After these, Iroha calls Madoka to combine their power to crush the witch induction device. The device is destroyed, and then witches leave away, observed by Kanagi Izumi.

The two teams now get together. Mami is taken care by Madoka and Sayaka et all. Tsuruno, with her consciousness regained, also happy to see all members in Mikazuki villa, newer or older. She also takes Mifuyu's hand. Weather forecast reports that supercell changes its path to Mitakihara. Homura is worried that Madoka would go back to fight Walpurgisnacht. But her confidence comes back since all five magical girls now alive. It seems there still be chance.

Kuroe escapes from many black feathers. She opens the door and finds Iroha. She is excited and runs to them. However, her doppel, in a magical girl's appearance, stops her. She reproaches Kuroe different from Iroha, and won't merge into them. Kuroe is then swallowed by her doppel.

Mikazuki team members approach Hotel Fandthope. But the door closed so only Iroha gets into it. Touka faults Iroha to destroy her plan angrily. She also asks who she is. Nemu stops her and calls Iroha elder sister. She starts to tell the truth to them. A picture in her hand shows 3 people including Iroha, Touka and herself.

Trivia

• Konoha Shizumi, Ayame Mikuri, Hazuki Yusa, Nanaka Tokiwa, Kako Natsume and Kanagi Izumi make brief appearance in this episode.
• It is shown that Etteilla was killed by Tsuruno Yui in the anime. When Tsuruno knows that she has killed the witch born from Mel Anna, She is heavily shocked.
