Magia Record Main Story Part 2 Chapter 5

• We start the new chapter off with a battle between Iroha and Promised Blood

• 

• Hikaru gets beaten by Yachiyo and the Kamihama Magia Union retreats to recuperate
• Ikumi is still grieving over the loss of Ryo, swearing she will never love another guy like she loved Ryo.
• Shigure and Hagumu go on an apology tour starting with the Tokime Tribe followed by Promised Blood. In spite of Iroha's persuasion they are still sticking with their group
• After a meeting ends Alexandra walks to the coast
• Telling her friend is troubled Himena follows her
• We flashback to sometime after Himena contracted. On the verge of becoming a Witch because her crush died, Alexandra saves her and hands her a grief seed

• 

• Alexandra suggest they join Neo-Magius and by espousing the ideals of Meguca Supremacy, the two of them can create a society where they can freely love. Himena gets the rich academic boy and Alexandra her teacher.
• Sometime between then and joining Neo-Magius Alexandra had second thoughts
• Seeing her friend is troubled Himena asks her who she is actually affiliated with.
• Alexandra comes out of the closer and reveals she is part of Folklore of Zero
• Magia Union and Tokime form a temporary understanding. Tokimes will head after
• Ikumi continues to grieve and heads to the Lake Daito.
• Thankfully Hinano puts herself on Ikumi Suicide Watch. She interrupts a KMU meeting and gets the others to intervene
• With her friend's help Ikumi moves on a bit. They go to Ryo's old news room to clean it up
• Meanwhile the 2nd Battle of Kamihama Prison is about to begin. Once again they intend to shut down the Mirrors Highway
• Taskforce Alina/Mifuyu (unfortunately not Alina/Karin) is sent with the twins to investigate the Mirrors
• Because it's dangerous Iroha is sent with the rest of Mikazuki to Kamihama University Library to find a map of Kamihama Prison's catacombs.
• In the meantime Yachiyo prepares a strike force.
• We cross over to the Tokimes who plan to find the Neo-Magius Base.
• Chiharu, with her hand re-attached, skirmishes with the Neo-Magius but they manage to get away
• San and Miyuri use perception magic to convince the Tokimes to change side
• Tokimes return to base deflated
• And it turns out Himena found their base first. Sunao and Chika are convinced to join Neo-Magius

• Chiharu is deflated and Shizuka reveals her cunning plan
• Sunao and Chika are merely infiltrating Neo-Magius
• We find out that Neo-Magius are based at Kamihama Exhibition Centre (still under construction)
• Over at Touka & Nemu's, Kagome agrees to be part of their weird experiment to separate the Rumour from her mandrake.
• Meanwhile we cross back to Ikumi, Sakurako and Hinano who are cleaning out the news room.
• There they find on Sakurako's phone a password sealed message
• As a final act of defiance Ryo sent her pics to Sakurako's phone of the Kamihama Prison Catacombs. Ryo's final work survived
• They make a call to Touka and ask her to password unlock the shit. Touka says she can get it done because she's a genius.
• The pictures from Ryo help fill in the blanks in the map Iroha found. With their map and whistles for comm, Union heads to Kamihama Prison.
• Sunao and Chika arrive at the exhibition centre along with other Tokime mooks seemingly converted to Neo-Magius Side
• Two Battles follow- The 2nd Battle of Kamihama Prison (KMU v PB) and the Battle of Kamihama Exhibition Centre (Tokime v Neo-Magius)

2nd Battle of KP Prelude Ao is still suffering from PTSD over killing Ryo. Hikaru goes to cheer her up but it is not much help. She still remembers how Juri and Yuna acted like assholes over her death, suggesting she is seriously having doubts.

• Yuna is soon alerted by the presence of a KMU taskforce led by Yachiyo comprising of her, Mifuyu, Kaede, Momoko, Rena, and Tsuruno
• The group spread out to search the catacombs where they are each confronted by different KMU members
• The Battle is harder than expected. Iroha, Ikumi and Hinano join as reinforcements.
• Ikumi has her long-awaited reunion with Ao, reinforcing Kanagi...and she is apologetic!
• With her widow rage Ikumi proceeds to lay the beatdown on Ao
• Ao barely manages to hold her ground as Ikumi smacks every last bit of punishment into her for killing Ryo
• Ao withdraws into herself and speaks with the Kimochi thus getting her own Kimochi Form

• 

• Ranka and Sakuya are there to reinforce Ao but Ao turns the table in her new form.
• Tsuruno manages to penetrate deeply into the prison and finds herself at a cell.
• But her way is blocked by Juri
• A Battle begins between the two Fire mages

• 

• Dragon and War Fan, the battle is fierce. Juri fires away a wall of flame and the battle ends
• There are no casualties and both sides retreat to fight another day.
• Over at Touka & Nemu's they manage to separate the Rumour from Kagome giving birth to a new Rumour who looks like a hooded priestess.

• 

Battle of KEX

• The Tokimes gather in the hall and Sunao sneaks out to send a message away
• She is intercepted by San and Miyuri who are guarding the gate
• San and Miyuri side with Neo-Magius because Kamihama also fucked Takarazaki with the Witch shortage.
• Sunao sends a telepathic message to Chika to ask for reinforcement
• The other Tokimes arrive and this time Round 2 goes to Chiharu who defeats Miyuri
• Shizuka and her wives along with Ryoko make their way into the hall where Himena is having a Magical Girl Supremacist Rally to espouse her ideals, hopefully converting the Tokimes
• Alexandra uses her harp to slow down the Tokimes but Shizuka makes her way on stage.
• Shizuka is having none of that shit. She rebuts Himena with her own speech reminding the gathered of Tokime ideals. Tokime Magical Girls are not superior, they are not better. They are Servants to the Nation who fight for the sake of The Land of The Rising Sun.
• Neo-Magius brings out a new toy (Mitsune's doppel) and use her perception magic
• Shizuka counters the magic with Tokime's Ancient Magic and brings it down
• Taking this opportunity Chika attacks Himena to take back her stone
• Himena traps the two of them in the Kimochi created magical world
• Himena also has a chat with her own Kimochi but does not gain a Kimochi Form
• Chiharu takes back her stone and Asahi shoots Himena dead....
• Or did she? It is revealed Himena used perception magic to fake her death. Mitsune is down for the count. Presumably from over-using magic.
• Oh yeah and Kagome showed up to the Battle with her Rumour in tow.
• Not a single Neo-Magius attacks Kagome and she even has a courteous introduction with San
• After the battle Chiharu and Shizuka are lurking in Kamihama and Chiharu smells evil. It is coming from the mayoral election rally.
• Things get heated and Dr Satomi gets stoned.

As the day ends Iroha prepares to sleep and has one last chat with Kagome. She is alerted by noises coming from Felicia's room, she is having nightmares about her parents and who actually killed them.

The Folklore Chapter

• Sudachi and Mikage investigate Mirrors without the permission of Mitama and Livia
• Almost get killed because Mikage can't fight a Mirror clone of her sister
• But Mifuyu can. The Mirror Clone gets sliced. She is lurking there with Alina and investigating Mirrors again
• They find out that Mirror Witch can clone witches
• Meanwhile Nayuta continue searching for her papa which leads her to Yukuni
• Nayuta and Lavi prepare to head overseas but not before more rowdiness at the electoral rally
• Some Blue Man tries to start a fight at the rally
