Mio (美緒 Mio) is a minor supporting character appearing in Puella Magi Oriko Magica: Sadness Prayer. She is part of a group of magical girls hailing from Kazamino City, comprised of Lina Hitomi, Miyako Saki, and Mai Akane.

Backstory
Mio's backstory is currently unknown.
During Sadness Prayer
Mio is first seen helping Lina and the other members of her team fight against Sasa in Kazamino city. After Sasa escapes Mio tracks her down and fights the other magical girl by herself. It is revealed that Sasa killed a member of Mio's team named Futaba, and that Futaba was Mio's best friend out of her team. After Sasa insults the late Futaba, Mio deliberately tries to kill Sasa. Before she has a chance she is killed by Kirika who appears out of nowhere.
Powers
An explosion is seen emanating from Mio after she lands a flying kick. However since this kick missed Sasa it is unknown how powerful the explosion was, or the kind of damage it would have caused.
She is also seen shooting a chain from her weapon, which she used to wrap around the wing of Sasa's witch, and pull her self to Sasa's height.
