Summary

An airheaded Magical Girl who puts others around her in danger due to her reckless behavior. Her hobby is making sweets, and she's not good at horror movies and drawing soft-looking girls. Not only does she make her own, but she also likes to visit various sweet shops. Loved by each of the people surrounding her, she has lived a life completely unrelated to anything horrible within the real world.

Side Story

Moka searches for sweets to eat, so her female classmates say that she is more serious about eating sweets than about romance, stating that there are many boys interested in her, but Moka does not seem to be interested. Moka's classmates give her candy and think that she is a gluttonous angel, and as one of them ends up saying it and hugging the rest, they tell her that "Mocha broke the law", specifically its article 3 of not touching Moka's skin. Moka does not take this into account and while she suggests that they go buy something at a store, she notices an "insect" on her desk that she is scared to see. The girls accuse one of their male classmates, saying that he did the same thing some time ago, but he denies it, saying that he apologized to Moka for scaring her with a fake insect. Moka then realizes that it was not an insect, but a kanji for "back" in her notes and says that she saw it in the form of an insect. Moka apologizes, but her classmates only say that she is very creative and call her “a genius.” That afternoon Moka goes to the art club where she meets Karin Misono, who mistakes Alina Gray for Moka for a brief moment. Moka and her classmates were there to return the tools they used for their art classes. Moka explains that she is the one who had to return the tools, but her classmates insist on helping her because they don't believe she can lift things from her and they fear that the boys will make fun of her. Karin thanks saying that she will receive the materials and says that she will take them instead of her senpai, Alina, because she “is sick.” Karin silently cries for Alina's disappearance while Moka realizes this. Moka comments on this to her friends and they tell her that it is probably due to the disappearance of Alina, a girl who was in the same class as all of them. Leaving school, Moka finds herself on a closed path in an alley, where an old man wants her to buy his drawing for 5000 yen. Moka wants to reject him, but the old man tries to manipulate her into buying his drawing, trying to accuse her of being a thief, but at that moment Meiyui Chun appears, who says that she will punish the real criminal and calls Moka an idiot for letting herself be fooled by a scammer. The man tries to hurt Meiyui, but she manages to stop him and restrain him with a martial arts hold, indicating that he is a member of the Blue Seas family. The man accuses the family of being yakuzas who interfered with his businesses and realizes that Meiyui is the high school student with “high buns” who hurt his fellow scammers, so the terrified man ends up fleeing. Moka thanks Meiyui for saving her and wants to thank her, but Meiyui says that she cares a lot about other people's opinions and that is why they are going to want to take advantage of her, asking her to go to her house because because that's a dangerous area of the City. However, while Moka is trying to leave, she collides with a young man who pretends to be injured and manipulates her into accompanying him to eat because she "cured him", but Meiyui, seeing this, stops her and asks her why she didn't just ignore the guy and leave, so Meiyui chases him away. Meiyui tells Moka that she is too clueless to realize other people's intentions and asks her to go home again, but Moka says that she must "do something" and walks away from her. Meiyui thinks that Moka is too careless and thinks about following her to take care of her while Moka assures that she "must accomplish an important mission." Meiyui follows Moka to a restaurant where they sell street food, which Meiyui thinks is a very strong food for someone like Moka. Moka orders a dish with crickets and Meiyui decides to do the same while she spies on her. On the one hand, Moka has difficulty eating her dish while Meiyui finds the taste particular, however, the situation doesn't end and Moka continues going to more restaurants in the area with street food and the process keeps repeating itself. However, at one point Moka collides with a guy, but before he runs away Hinano Miyako appears, claiming that she observed how the guy stole Moka's phone, so he reluctantly returns it to her while Meiyui proceeds to beat him when he walks away from Moka and Hinano. Moka thanks Hinano for her help and leaves her. Hinano wants to follow her because she thinks Moka is very clumsy and at that moment Meiyui approaches her to explain that she also thinks the same. The two greet each other, remembering that they had not seen each other since the fight against Walpurgis, so they both decide to take care of Moka. As the two follow Moka to another restaurant they run into Ryo Midori, whom Hinano introduces to Meiyui. Ryo says that she originally went to the area to investigate a rumor about two of their teachers supposedly dating in secret, but she finds Moka to be a "more interesting" topic. Ryo says that just watching Moka walk makes her think she's the kind of girl who attracts bad news. Hinano asks if it's because Moka reminds Ryo of Sakurako Hiiragi, but Ryo denies it, saying that there is a man following Moka just like the three of them. Meiyui recognizes him as a scammer from a corrupt company who lures young girls to get involved in corruption deals and other bad things, so Meiyui and Hinano rush to Moka's aid while Ryo laughs saying that Hinano really is very protective about other younger girls, especially someone like Moka. The three girls hide in an alley and make a plan to protect Moka, so Meiyui proposes to "get rid" of the guy before he approaches Moka, they talk and then decide to put her plan into action. Just as the young man approaches Moka, Hinano jumps in front of the man and begins to ask him questions, but he mistakes her for an elementary school student. Ryo states that "he just stepped on a landmine" and explains to Meiyui how Hinano hates being called an elementary school student because of her appearance, but before Meiyui can do anything Hinano ends up pushing the man away with her screams of complaints. The three girls later watch Moka enter another street food restaurant, Ryo says that the place is known for having very strong food while Meiyui explains that Moka has been eating street food all day since she met her, but she doesn't understand why, since it seems Moka always cries when eating that type of food and doesn't seem to like what she orders. At that moment the three girls sense the presence of a witch, but before they can follow the trail of magic they see Moka leave the restaurant and go in the direction of where the witch's labyrinth is located. The three girls then watch Moka enter the witch barrier and Hinano wonders if Moka is a magical girl too. Meiyui laughs at the thought of this saying that there's no a girl as clumsy as Moka can fight witches while Ryo insists that they must rescue her from the witch. For her part, Moka thinks that she has found an opportunity and will face the witch. Meiyui, Hinano and Ryo transform and enter the witches' barrier, being surprised to discover not only that Moka is a magical girl, but that she fights with her eyes closed, attacking the familiars with her great battle ax without even wanting to see where she launches her attacks. The girls go to Moka's aid and introduce themselves to her, Moka recognizes Meiyui's voice and says that she is surprised that she is also a magical girl. Ryo asks Moka why she fights with her eyes closed, to which she says that she is terrified of watching horror movies or anything scary, like witches and familiars, and explains how she freezes up when she sees them, but claims that she can fight with her eyes closed, to be paralyzed with fear. The others say that it is very dangerous and insist that they will defeat the witch for Moka and give her the grief seed, but Moka becomes sad about this and says that "everything is repeating itself again", and she does not like that other magical girls want to protect her. Moka thinks that's why she's been "training", always being protected by others, like her family, her classmates, and other fellow magical girls. Moka chastises herself saying that she will never be able to do anything on her own and thinks about giving up, but remembering how "she" called her "nuisance" and apologizes. However, Moka hears that Meiyui is in trouble, and thinking about how sad Karin looked, Moka says that she "won't let anyone die again." Moka runs in the direction of the fight and says to the other girls that she is not a nuisance and she has been training to become stronger and no longer have fear of the witches, so she opens her eyes and proceeds to defeat the witch alone. Hinano congratulates Moka while Moka she asks Meiyui if she is okay. Meiyui says she is okay and congratulates her in the same way as Hinano, while Ryo says that she had never heard of training by eating street food and street sweets. Hinano is still surprised that Moka didn't run away, but Ryo says that Moka isn't suitable to be a magical girl. Ryo asks Moka why she became a magical girl and she says that she asked Kyubey for a limited edition candy that she really wanted to eat. Meiyui is surprised that Moka wanted something like that. Moka says that Kyubey thanked her and the limited candy was very delicious and that it was #1 on her personal top candy list in the first half of the year, but Ryo says that wishing for something like that isn't worth it while Meiyui says she feels pity for Moka. Hinano asks how Moka has survived on her own, to which she says that she hasn't because she has a couple of magical girl friends and has also been helped by other magical girls in the past, and she especially remembers one as she gets sad. The others ask why Moka looks sad and she says that she never told anyone. Moka says that she has been training to be stronger because of that girl that saved her, but says that since the disaster of Kamihama she has not returned to school, so she believes that girl could have been murdered by one of the witches that attacked the city. Meiyui wants to comfort Moka, but stops herself from doing so, stating that she shouldn't worry about that. Moka says that when that girl saved her she called her "a nuisance" and she felt bad ever since, because she believed that she could have become her friend and helped her when she needed it. Hinano tells Moka that it is common for magical girls to die fighting witches, but she motivates her to keep going because she has improved herself, and the three offer to be friends with her. Moka thanks them for becoming her new friends, but Ryo interrupts her and asks for the details of the girl who saved her, since she realized that her uniform is from Sakae Academy, so Moka proceeds to tell her story. In a flashback Moka says she entered a witch's barrier not long after she became a magical girl. But the witch was too powerful for her and she was about to get killed, but she was "saved" by Alina. But, because Moka didn't pay attention, she didn't realized that Alina killed the witch because she was part of her "collection" for the Wings of Magius and ended her for disobeying her, so she killed the witch to use her for food for her other witches. Moka wanted to thank Alina, but she ignored her and called her "a nuisance", so from then on Moka decided to train to fight against witches, eventually managing to do it with her eyes closed, to show Alina that she could be a magical girl as strong as her. Back in the present; Meiyui, Hinano and Ryo believe that Alina probably got rid of one of her own witches so that she could be food for Eve, and that it must not have even been her intention to help Moka at all. Hinano thinks that Alina herself ended up disappearing as a result of her actions and Moka is not responsible for something like that, but they do not believe that Moka can handle the truth that Alina was evil and one of the causes of the partial destruction of Kamihama. On the other hand, Moka thanks Alina for saving her and says that now she has made more friends and will become devoted to exterminating witches with all her strength, saying that now she is only a little afraid of witches.

• Her illustrator is GENJIN, the same illustrator of Hinano Miyako.
• The memoria "A Little Success" makes references to "Hinamatsuri' (はひな祭り) and "Hina" (雛). Hinamatsuri is more commonly known as Girls' Day or Girls' Festival. Dolls representing the Emperor, Empress, and their court are called Hina and are arranged on a tiered display stand in people's homes.
