Official Info

• Nakazawa is rare among Madoka's classmates in that his family name is known. However, his given name is unknown.
• In episode 1, he answered Ms. Saotome's question about whether he prefers hard-boiled or soft-boiled eggs.
• In episode 7, he was talking with Kamijou.
• In the first drama CD (in the first timeline), he answered Ms. Saotome's question about cream puffs in a situation similar to episode 1.
• Nakazawa also reappears in The Rebellion Story. Once again Kazuko calls on him during her rants.

Speculation

• Some fans states that he presumably has a secret love affair with his teacher, due to the fact that he is always inquired by Satome-sensei about her dates, this would imply that he looks like the men she dates, or he is the mystery person himself! And because of her power over him in classes she hopes that he would be forced to acknowledge her feelings.
• It can also be inferred that Nakazawa holds strong feelings for Kamijou, however is suppressing them in order to maintain their friendship. When answering Ms. Saotome's question about eggs, saying: "either' fine", this can be a metaphor about sexuality. If that is the case, then Nakazawa having a crush on Kyousuke is entirely plausible.
• Some fans have also spectulated that Nakazawa is the true identidy of Walpurgis Night.
