針の魔女の使い魔。その役割は愛嬌。誰もが愛でざるを得ない魔女お手製の着ぐるみマスコット。あまりの可愛さを持つその容姿に刃を向けられるはずもない。 The needle witch's familiars, whose duty is to be charming. The witch's handcrafted costume mascots that people can't help but love. They're so excessively adorable that it's impossible to point a blade at them.

Trivia

  • Quitterie is a feminine French name and it means "quiet".
  • Quitterie is a rare French name, most likely derived from the Latin 'quietus', meaning "quiet, calm." Some also link the name to the Greek 'Κύθηρα', "Kythira", a Greek island which was consecrated to the ancient goddess of love and beauty Aphrodite.

Speculation

  • Saint Quiteria was a 5th century virgin martyr and saint. Nothing is certain about Quiteria except her name and her cult. Her name is a title that the Phoenicians gave to the goddess Astarte: Kythere, Kyteria, or Kuteria, which means "the red one.", which some take to mean that she might be a fictional saint. She may also have been named after the pagan goddess, or just as likely, after one of the names of Aphrodite, "Cytherea", after the island where the goddess was allegedly born.
    • When Quiteria was beheaded, her falling head hit the ground and a water fountain sprung up from the spot. Coincidentally, a bishop named Faust made a sermon that day with a reference to the miracle that converted the entire city area into Christianity.
  • Given to the description, it is speculated that Quitterie was a tailor. One likely possibility is that Quitterie was a cosplay otaku and she used to create her own costumes.
    • Another possibility is that she probably helped the school theater club with custom designs.
