Rena-chan Idol ver. is a version of Rena Minami that debuted in the mobile game Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story: Magia Record, during it's Festival Kami Kamihama Idol Festival 2020 events. She is supposed to represent the Rena seen in Magia Report.

Summary
In the world of Magi Repo, there is a magical girl who enjoys spending time with Momoko. After being scouted, she became a member of the local idol group "Kamiha☆Magica". Even though I was swept up in the turbulent sea between "Idol Lover" and "An Actual Idol," I'm still going to give it my all today.
Doppel Description
The Doppel of transformation. Its form is a flying kick. The master of this emotion wields every last bit of its power for her own sake. This Doppel multiplies its master’s kick strength many times over. This allows it to forcibly shove her deep into enemy territory, which will (hopefully) transform her into the battle’s victor. However, if she makes frequent use of this too-powerful kick, she may eventually lose her original skeletal structure. Also, the bomb its master tosses is one of her own belongings.

- Her illustrator is PAPA, artist of The Veranda of Madoka and Magia Report
- Rena-chan is event-limited.
- Pretty much everything about the character is a reference to Magia Report, including her playable status.
- Both her sprite and Live3D model are an animated PAPA drawing.
- The sign on her doppel reads "Return Deadline: Midnight". This is a reference to her Doppel's namesake, Cinderella, who had to be home by midnight before the magic of her fairy godmother wore off.
- She's not canon...or is she?
- In her Magia, "Start from 'Grant a Wish'", besides of the other members of Kamiha☆Magica, several other Magical Girls makes cameo appearances as spectators: Yachiyo Nanami, Ui Tamaki, Momoko Togame, Kaede Akino, Ren Isuzu, Sayaka Miki, Kyoko Sakura, Homura Akemi, Akira Shinobu, Meiyui Chun, and Nanaka Tokiwa.
