Shizuka Tokime is an original character in the 2017 mobile game Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story: Magia Record. She first appeared in August 2019 in the event The Green Jasper Diviner and becomes playable on September 18, 2020.

Etymology

• The characters of her last name mean "time" (時) and "woman" (女) respectively.
• The characters of her first name mean "quiet" (静) and "incense" (香) respectively.

Trivia

• She has been living in the secluded Tokime Village all her life and has a lot of trouble adjusting when they go to Kamihama. It is shown that she only sees trains in photos, seldom travelling by cars, even does not know what a smartphone and IC card is. At one point she even gets stuck on the subway turnstile and having trouble using a vending machine. In the comic Magia Report, she calls chocolate "tasty black sugary treats".
• There are some speculations about the school she enrolls. She might be a student in Kirimine Village Middle School - the same school as Sunao's, or as she has been living in the village without leaving, it can be suggested that she has been homeschooled.
• It is said in Chapter 2 of Arc 2 that, she might contracted at most three years before the main story takes place.
• Shizuka knows little to no English, but very skilled in handling complicate kanjis. Ironically, her VA speaks English very fluent, as she has been living most of her life in Australia.
