Not much is known about her home-life, but when she was younger she had a magical girl mentor named Tsubaki Mikoto. Tsubaki taught Suzune basic magical girl things and treating Suzune like her own daughter. One day, Tsubaki turns into a witch and Suzune learns the magical girl system from Kyuubey. Horrified, Suzune vows to kill Magical Girls before they become witches.
