:It won't hurt listing the witch in characters page though, as long as we mark it as '''''from PSP game'''''. (Just like how we treat Oriko/Kazumi, etc.) Personally I think if Inu Curry designs it, at very least ''the witch form'' could be considered canon (even if the story itself may not be quite so). --[[User:0x99|0x99]] 02:25, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

:::Well, it matters for two reasons: One is clarity. For example, if someone has only seen the anime and knows Kyubey, mentions of Jubey is going to be confusing. The more works there are produced, the more confusing it will get as we the body of information and contradictions among sources grows larger.  The second is that some fans care about sources and made subjective opinions on which they consider canonical and which do not. There will no doubt be some who do not consider some combination of the three manga, the game or the drama CDS to not be canon but rather than make those distinctions, we simply rule out things that are definitely not canonical (like the Comic Anthology) and make sure to list the sources for the rest because of reasons 1 and 2. --[[User:Randomanon|randomanon]] 03:22, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

are we going to consider the game canon?... there is always issues with games... --Mutopis 02:20, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

The scenarios are written by Urobuchi, Shaft and Inu Curry are doing the designs, the seiyuu are voicing their characters so yeah, I'd say it's reasonable to consider it at least as canonical as the manga spin-offs, which also have share the character page and so on. --randomanon 02:22, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
Actually, Urobuchi did not write it (or not all of it). He mainly "Supervise" the script. --0x99 02:25, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
True, though the way it was explained, I have no qualms of it having the complete Urobuchi stamp of approval: The scenarios of the game version will be under full supervision by Gen Urobuchi of Nitroplus. Regarding that Doi noted that “the game will have multiple ending and I would like to drill down to explore the aspects of the characters that have not been seen before.” He also mentioned Urobuchi came to the development site frequently to have discussions. Doi looked satisfied with the result and said “I have high expectation of the scenarios.” At the very least, it will be as canonical as the drama CDs, which were also under his supervision. --randomanon 02:32, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

I swear I'll never get people's gripes with canon sources that aren't the main and original source, even if they're just as official... but oh well.
As a personal note, I read a number of fan descriptions for Mami's witch form... and this doesn't hold a candle to some of them (no pun intended). It seems too bland, to be honest.
