I hear that Urobuchi is a fan of [[wikipedia:Equilibrium_(film)|Equilibrium]], (he even wrote a short fanfiction, ''[http://vndb.org/v1390 Jouka no Monshou]''). Rumor has it that the film influenced Urobuchi to make Homura a gun-wielding badass. Any ideas or evidence to confirm this?? --[[User:Mutopis|Mutopis]] 08:44, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

I hear that Urobuchi is a fan of Equilibrium, (he even wrote a short fanfiction, Jouka no Monshou). Rumor has it that the film influenced Urobuchi to make Homura a gun-wielding badass. Any ideas or evidence to confirm this?? --Mutopis 08:44, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

The fight scenes are indeed pretty familiar (the whole "one-shot guns that you throw afterwards" that Mami uses for instance appears at least once). Aside from that, the resemblance didn't really strike me, that film is basically 1984 revisited.
Oh I just forgot another resemblance in that the MC becomes a quasi-god at the end. --Homerun-chan 10:52, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
