Spoilers

Do we keep spoilering everything that isn't broadcast information, or do we just put a big spoiler alert at the top of the page and un-spoiler everything? 'cause I think it's gonna end up pretty much as a black page soon seeing how it goes ... --Homerun-chan 09:07, 22 April 2011 (UTC)

Part of me wants to say 'if you're browsing wiki articles on a series you haven't finished watching, you're asking for trouble unless you know exactly what you're looking for and don't accidentally end up on spoiler filled pages'. The other part wants to say that tagging spoilers is the only polite way to do it.

Someone needs to add the mahou shoujo from all over the world to the page, because the world needs more moeviking.

Witches

"Cleopatra (Roberta) and Joan d'arc (Elsa Maria) were magical girls. ...perhaps Anne Frank too?"

Well, I think it's possible that Roberta was Cleopatra and Joan d'Arc was Elsa Maria ... but is this official information? Sounds like speculah to me. Keksus 15:46, 22 April 2011 (UTC)

  • One of the Puella Magi that is retroactively purified by Madoka is a girl sitting on a crowded train and crying. Fans think it's Anne Frank on her way to the work camps. MsDevin92 00:31, 23 April 2011 (UTC)
They aren't destined to become witches, more like destined to die. Like history says...

Something's going on with this page

In this edit, I merely added a picture, but it ended up deleting a bunch of unrelated stuff as well, for some reason. BrickBreak 23:52, 22 April 2011 (UTC)

Homura's 'New Weapon/Wish'

Her shield ran out of sand, which as you know, means that it can't stop time anymore until she resets the timeline. Furthermore, her shield outright disappeared when Madoka did that... thing with the breaking of reality, but her magical girl clothes did not. Therefore: 1) Maybe she chooses not to use the shield anymore, since without sand, it's nothing but a hunk of steel attached to her arm; this would also imply it's either impossible to reset the timeline and get more sand, or that doing so would really not fix anything so she's not bothering. 2) Maybe she chooses not to use the shield anymore out of respect for Madoka and upholds her memory with the bow/arrow combo, an ability granted to her when Madoka fixed her Soul Gem and gave her her ribbon. 3) Maybe she did in fact make a new wish in this timeline.

One thing to keep in mind is that Homura likely would NOT have a new wish to make (or probably would not have WANTED to make a new wish, knowing it's still a mess), so it's more likely that her wish is still the same and she exists 'beyond spacetime' like she did in all of the timelines but the first. In this case theories 1 and 2 are more likely. It's also very obvious that Homura remembers the events of the past and Madoka, and therefore couldn't have been reset into making a new wish.

Interesting (funny?) thing about a picture

About http://wiki.puella-magi.net/File:Homura_and_Madoka_God.jpg picture, I recall there was a moment during either episode 11 or 12 where a part of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Creation_of_Adam was seen in the background. Trying to find it now... If anyone else also found it, please upload and link! Aquamarine39 03:10, 23 April 2011 (UTC)

Evangelion

More than just the ultimate upshot, there are visual allusions and borrowings to Eva.
