:::::: I guess in the end, Urobuchi still has a lot of hate to throw into Sayaka. Pity Sayaka that she has to go through that many difficulties in life in such a short moment in every timeline. Even if Sayaka gets a happy end with Kyouske, she still has no happy ending in the end. Surprisingly, Madoka (again?) done that gem-throwing thing in another timeline... Though I do not really hate Kyousuke, but it definitely hurt to be called a 'monster' when being a 'zombie' is bad enough. But it is quite natural in some way that Human always despise others with great power, just like X-Men. From the looks, Sayaka would be better off with Madoka in the ethereal world or we might see "G-Uro"-"butcher" trying to make her suffer in the 3rd movie again... sigh... Happy madokami psp fanart.jpg

"T - The reason why we chose PSP was not because it could only be done in PSP but because we thought what game console is used by the people who watched Madoka."

  • ...And here I am stuck with the 3DS.

On another note, would anyone translate the Famitsu article? I've heard some people say it mentions the possibility other characters become witches, and I'd like additional confirmation.-- Universalperson 00:23, 12 August 2011 (UTC)

Trailer

Trailer's been released: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JJ1JLv3UCs&feature=player_embedded --CrownClown 03:25, 14 August 2011 (UTC)

The second trailer is remade in the official web site. It contains more information than the previous C81 edition. Yorkwoo 16:09, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
I'm courious that why Kouko can use Rosso Fantasma? Did't she lost that ability before the time point Homura can get back? Yorkwoo 00:39, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
It's possible you can help the girls change and recover to some degree, just like you can witchify them. Plus, this game also has Moemura, there's probably some sequences set in the past. --CrownClown 01:10, 6 January 2012 (UTC)

Limited edition handkerchief

"The "HomuHomu Handkerchief" in the Limited Edition has the identical design as the one used in the anime scene where Homura folded out a handkerchief and sat on it. I really hope that people can share the feeling of Homura sitting on a handkerchief."

LOL Japan. Imagine what a creepy otaku could do with it. - Lord of the Kakapos 10:09, 16 August 2011 (UTC)

Website Updated

Just a heads up that the game's website updated. There doesn't seem to be anything important, but it might be worth keeping an eye on it anyway - I'm half-expecting witch cards. --Universalperson 13:38, 5 September 2011 (UTC)

  • I'm expecting Witch cards soon as well. They did say there would be some new ones. SPDUDE48 10:39, 5 September 2011 (UTC)
  • Okay, it's been updated again, and it looks like something's happening at the Tokyo Game Show next week. I'm not really sure. --Universalperson 18:44, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
If there's anything worthwhile, I'll be posting it. --randomanon 18:47, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
Nothing worth mentioning that I've seen at the Tokyo Game show. It is one of many games where a brief preview's shown on the screen, among a bunch of other previews for upcoming games. That's it. I can't even find a video of it, only some blurry pics not even worth posting. --randomanon 18:22, 17 September 2011 (UTC)

Welp, the site's been updated again, and it looks like a pretty big update. Not sure about everything, but under the section called "Application" there seems to be something about Mami blasting away at Charlotte.--Universalperson 14:22, 7 October 2011 (UTC)

I'm gonna guess that it's a mini-game that will be available on the site on a certain date. (in this case, 14 of October)--84.77.58.17 15:03, 7 October 2011 (UTC)

And the site is updated again. It looks like it's just a picture, and a picture of a keychain...but I can't tell who's on the keychain. It looks like Mami doing a Tiro Finale, but the colors are off. --Universalperson 13:00, 18 November 2011 (UTC)

I can only see 2 newer special gift. One is a telephone card with Mami & Kyubey sleeping. The other is a keychain with an hourglass on it. Also it seem they provide a new version of game which supports iPad resolution now. But I cannot confirm it now. Yorkwoo 15:09, 18 November 2011 (UTC)

Music

What do we know about the music that will be used in the game? --Mutopis 00:55, 28 September 2011 (UTC)

Nothing in particular. --randomanon 01:12, 28 September 2011 (UTC)

Mami's Heart Pounding Tiro Finale

  • I feel Charlotte's attack style is really dumb. I won't get hurt by it. I'm always beaten by familiars... Yorkwoo 17:50, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
    • Besides the video on the website, are there any other videos of gameplay? --Universalperson 19:00, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
      • It's not easy to take video from an iPod touch. I also searched Nico video and found nothing but PV. But it might be too early for now. Yorkwoo 03:37, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
        • There's one here. (No Charlotte, though.) Neuchadjinys 04:37, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
  • The game is commented badly as boring, monotonous, and dull. Some players commented it could be a paid game if it had been made funny. The pattern of enemy appearance is the same every time. Yorkwoo 22:32, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
    • The first update is provided today. Charlotte now can make her diving attack on Mami. Familiars also attack with Charlotte. Now it's not that boring. Yorkwoo 14:24, 1 November 2011 (UTC)
      • Something also happens when 600 people think 140,000 points...I think.
        • Yep. According to the website, it's... a cell phone background! Er, at least, I think that's what it means by "携帯待ち受けプレゼント". Something like that. Neuchadjinys 22:56, 1 November 2011 (UTC)
Angry madokami psp fanart.jpg
  • I have played both iPhone and Android versions. I played the iPhone version on an iPod touch (4th generation), and Android version on Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo. I feel the iPhone version more comfortable to play. Sometimes the enemy is moving and born too fast, and sometimes I feel it very show to shoot on Android version. Yorkwoo 07:54, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
Suddenly I have some ideas about the game, although I won't expect they will do it. It seems there is some capability to expand more stages. Here are some imaginary stages I feel wonderful:
  • Gertrud. Mami is still protecting Madoka and Sayaka. The enemies are different style in both shape and form of attack.
  • Izabel. Mami and Madoka are protecting Homura. Madoka is controlled by CPU, or even better, controlled by 2P if some network gaming is available. But if Homura is got hit, then mission is failed.
  • Patricia. She is immune to both Mami's and Madoka's attack. Only Homura(as NPC) can defeat her. But You have to protect Homura from familiars first. As a magical girl, Homura(in Moemura form) can bear some hits, but not many. The direction is changed to vertical, and Patricia is at the highest point. Mami must jump on lines to reach her, and both Madoka and Homura will follow her. After the witch appears, there is a timer start counting down. Homura must not be killed before the timer reaching zero. After time up, Homura will automatically set the bomb to kill Patricia.
But most likely they will only be in my imagination. Yorkwoo 17:00, 4 December 2011 (UTC)
  • Oh no! I don't want to say 'I am such an idoit' when I get the PSP game. I have made a limited contract... Yorkwoo 09:03, 22 October 2011 (UTC)
  • OK, I have updated this game and played it. I feel it buggy. I don't know how to choose Homura. I also can't use magic anymore. The magic meter is increasing indeed, but no matter how much it accmulated, I can't use magic! I always lose because the barrier protecting Madoka and Sayaka broken! Besides, it get harder in Ophelia's stage. Yorkwoo 01:59, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
Finally I have found a way to use special attacks and defeated Ophelia. But I couldn't upload my result. I wonder it caused by blocking IP from outsides of Japan. Currently, when you have enough magic and want to use it, press the pause icon and choose the 2nd one. Then you returned to title. There is one additional button to continue. Choose continue and wait a little moment then you can use your special attack. I defeat Ophelia by repeating doing this way. Yorkwoo 04:11, 4 March 2012 (UTC)
MamiTiro Astonishing Image preview.jpg
  • There are over 2000 players cleared Ophelia's stage. The image which is said to be astonishing is partially revealed. Mami as singer? It seems NBGI have some plans related with Idol Master, which is also made into game by NBGI. Yorkwoo 02:15, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
When you get the entire picture revealed, please post it! I'd love to see Mami as an idol! Silvermoon424 03:17, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, I have uploaded it. They said details will be revealed in upcoming Dengeki PlayStation Vol.514.

Gameplay Mechanics Note

You know, this is insane ridiculous speculation, but the way the gameplay mechanics are described makes me think we might see a new character. Or alternatively, magical girl Hitomi. --Universalperson 00:02, 11 November 2011 (UTC)

I hope so, too. Yorkwoo 00:10, 11 November 2011 (UTC)

Madoka USA

This is just a thought, but I wonder since we have a following in America. If DVD and blu-ray sales show strong numbers, perhaps that could convince them to release the game in English, if they think there is a market for it? I am sure localizing a game is not easy but Madoka does has some recognition in the US, albeit not sure how strong it is, but surely the numbers must be good enough to justify to chance it... Of course the gameplay must be good enough too.--Mutopis 00:20, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

Kyouko's School Uniform

Ok, there is the artwork but now the character profile, seems to indicate she goes to the same school like the other characters. What are we going to do regarding this information?... --Mutopis 08:30, 28 December 2011 (UTC)

Nothing, because we don't know the story behind it. She's been in a school uniform in the official art for the game (the teaparty box cover) for a while now, but we don't know why. --randomanon 08:49, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
Maybe she will transfer into Mitakihara Middle school if some condition met, just as Kyousuke being a guitarist. Who knows. BTW, there are something new on their official web site but I cannot view bigger images of something like Mami's witch form. Is there anyone having the same problem? Yorkwoo 16:47, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
I also have problems only with those images. I thought it's because I can run the latest version of Adobe Flash Player for technical reasons in my current set-up, but maybe it's a problem on their side afterall. --randomanon 19:50, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

Translated script

A rather straightforward question: Think there'll be one? If this was for PC, no doubt a patch would be out fairly quick, but seeing as it's for PSP, that's not an option... --BrickBreak 21:30, 8 January 2012 (UTC)

It typically takes a long time (years) for a patch to come out. I expect because tri4 has committed to it, that Madoka will be faster than most. It's possible too they may be willing to let out a transcript before the game integration if asked nicely. Still, you're looking at months. --randomanon 21:56, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
I used to be in the PSP homebrew scene, kinda lost my track though. Perhaps that's why I wasn't considering a patch an option. Uh. Well, doubt I'll manage to hold back on playing anyway, but thanks. --BrickBreak 02:28, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, it could be patched like with Idolm@ster. Best way to know is ask tri4 directly since they're the ones translating it. --randomanon 07:36, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
Know if anyone translated the menu/interface? As a veteran gamer and a biology student, I'll carry on suing a scientific approach which I'm sure you can guess (hey, worked for Initial D), but... --BrickBreak 17:59, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Visit tri4 for latest status. --randomanon 18:01, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
...well balls, none of that was there last night. But again, I really shouldn't be surprised. --BrickBreak 18:30, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

Dobokeru

"Dobokeru" can mean daze, but since this is Kyubey, wouldn't it make more sense to use the other definition, "deceive"? He does have a history of pretending to not know the truth now and then. It just seems a little more in character for him. Honeykiss 16:33, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

Again, I don't know many words in English. It is possible that I can't make clear the difference among those words. So please have them fixed if you find more proper words. Yorkwoo 16:54, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

Names

One quick question, does anyone know if the game will reveal the name of Mami's parents or of Kyoko's? It is probably a long shot in the dark but if we are dealing with some of the girls routes one can never know, but what the hell may as well just ask... --Mutopis 13:46, 4 February 2012 (UTC)

New Trailer

Right here. Some stuff we knew, some stuff we didn't know but expect, and one surprise. --Universalperson 02:59, 25 February 2012 (UTC)

Live broadcast

There will be a program in NBGI's network broadcast channel:

http://www.bandainamcogames.co.jp/cs/event/bnltv/

on Mar 14, 2012, at 21:00(Tokyo time). Both Kaori Mizuhashi and Ai Nonaka will be there, talking about various stuff about the game. --Yorkwoo 02:33, 10 March 2012 (UTC)

Screen Shots

Some 70+ PSP game screenshots! --Mutopis 12:19, 14 March 2012 (UTC)

Game Difficulty

There is no evidence to suggest that Gen Urobuchi messed with the difficult settings, then again...

Some sources say that the game is difficult to beat, is there some reliable way to determine this, also what kind of difficult settings are there? --Mutopis 14:12, 14 March 2012 (UTC)

I'm betting the source of OP information is the Not-Ayase blog. The blog contains too much misinformation to be a reliable source. I've watched a player playthrough of the first loop in UST (to about beginning of episode 6 of anime) and from few play impression in 2ch, the game doesn't seems that hard but you have to be very careful, for example:
  • Any actions can raise Emotion Points.
  • SG can become muddy easier if the point is high.
  • You can't use GS to cleanse a completely mudded SG.
  • You can't use any skill that uses MP if SG is completely mudded.
  • Recovery items are rare.
  • It's impossible to know when to press Q-button.
  • If you're surrounded by 4 familiars, turns will be "You -> Familiar -> Familiar -> Familiar -> Familiar".
I never heard anything about half-witch mode, though. The producer said game is designed so you can get into Witch route easily but the game will become easier as you play it more since Karma Points directly reflects default statuses at the start of game. --0x99 15:34, 14 March 2012 (UTC)
I watch the video and think it is turn-based. You take one turn no matter move or attack, and all enemies also take one turn each. If many enemies are around you, you will get multiple hits. So you have to think some smart way to move to prevent such situation. That makes me remember about the original Ultima. --Yorkwoo 15:38, 14 March 2012 (UTC)

I noticed that there is no Homura magic tree posted in the page as of yet --Mutopis 09:36, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

Look at the file links. --randomanon 09:55, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
I would have thought Homura would have her own subsection... --Mutopis 10:14, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

Live gameplay

Go see it...it's running right now: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/mdoka-debu --randomanon 16:51, 14 March 2012 (UTC)

Some recordings:

Just a heads up

To anyone playing from the Memory Stick, the game freezes after talking to Homura on the bridge and going to the city map. Gotta wait for a patch. --BrickBreak 12:03, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

Please refer to this thread for workarounds. --randomanon 13:02, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
I did see that before, just... ugh, that'd be annoying, and knowing myself, veeeeery prone for forgetfulness. Then again, how could I expect not to suffer with this game? --BrickBreak 13:21, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Make sure to convert to CSO first. That will save you from the tutorial freezes. --randomanon 17:26, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, I did that, it's running smooth. Still freezes on video sequences though, gotta skip them - hopefully, they're nothing but clips from the anime. --BrickBreak 15:05, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

About spoiler in PSP game

I heard many players got a lot of bad endings. It might not be proper to write them in the game page since there are too much information there. Is there any plan for these? --Yorkwoo 16:50, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

My suggestion, make a new page with a spoiler heading. This will be a subpage for PSP Game Endings. Then provide a short description of what it is and a link to it from the main PSP game page. --randomanon 17:25, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Since PSP game is separated into chapters, better create new page with title something like Madoka Magica Portable Chapter 1: As If We Met in a Dream... (suggestion) and put information related to PSP game there. See Talk:Main Page for more info about reorganizing. --0x99 18:18, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
I'm not sure, routes might make more sense. That's how the Japanese wiki is separating them. So far I only really know about the Madoka Kaname route which is basically a tutorial one. Very straight-forward, closely follows anime, not many choices but apparently always ends with Madoka contracting to save Sayaka and Homura resets. --randomanon 19:16, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
I think it still make sense to have a separate page for each route (chapters) though, we can always put information such as possible routes within chapter, Q-button timing, and such in it in an organized manner. --0x99 19:21, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Yes, separate pages is good, I'm suggesting routes rather than chapters, as that's how the game does it. Plus, you have to finish the Madoka Kaname route first, then I think some other routes (not sure on the exact parameters) before you can do the Homura route. Only then can you unlock the bonus route. The Japanese wiki also separates by days and morning/noon/evening for time period (it is 30 days to Walpurgis in all routes) since that's what you see at the top of the map screen. It's easier to track than chapters. --randomanon 19:32, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Hmm, I still want to use the official "title" for each routes (that's why I'm calling it chapter). For example, "As If We Met Met in a Dream..." for Madoka route, "Only If You Are By My Side" for Mami's route, etc. --0x99 19:39, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
I see. I thought you were using them to refer to episodes rather than character routes...since the Madoka route goes to roughly ep. 8 and I think the rest of the routes go to ep. 12. --randomanon 19:45, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, seems like Madoka's route is the only one with a fixed ending. I've asked my friend to list first three all chapters in the game:
  • 夢の中で逢った、ような… (As If We Met in a Dream...) —Madoka route
  • あなたが側にいてくれるなら (Only If You Are By My Side) —Mami route
  • 運命はきっと変えられる (The Destiny Could Be Changed) —Homura route
  • 私が願った、奇跡 (The Wish I Prayed For) —Sayaka route
  • 残された最後の希望だったんだ (It Was The Last Path Left) —Kyouko route
  • 想いは現実を越える (A Wish Can Surpass Reality) —Bonus route
--0x99 20:00, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Maybe something has to be unlocked before you can get a different ending to the Madoka route? --83.108.126.230 20:55, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
I'm not sure about that as I've never seen any report of someone able to break the fixed ending of Madoka's route. It may be possible but nobody, so far, has found a way to. --0x99 22:16, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
In my opinion, it's better to use something like 'Someone's Route' as title because it is easier to understand and search. Also the title can be shorten. I suggest the "official title" to be subtitle in those pages. --Yorkwoo 02:33, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
The reason I want to put full title in the page name because of consistency (so game, manga, anime, etc. uses the same format). --0x99 15:43, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
I'm confused by this because that's not how the pages are named. Anime episode pages are just "Episode 1" not "Episode 1: As if We Met in A Dream", they don't have the full name. Ditto for manga subpages, they also have short names. It still seems confusing to me to name pages for the game after episodic titles, when the game is divided into routes. --randomanon 15:52, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
I'm referring to the reorganization plan in the Talk:Main Page. The game is divide into multiple routes with title for each routes (see above), you have to select the route you want to play right when the game starts. --0x99 17:22, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

Homura's Majo

This is a spoiler so I'm going to hide this stuff inside a collapsable table. Please reply inside the spoilers table.

Madoka PSP spoilers

This is mentioned in 2ch, but "HOMULILLY" (click to see) seems to be Homura's Majo. Her Majo is represented with a disc on the top with infinite sign. Her witch type is 此岸の魔女 (Shigan no Majō) which basically means "Witch of Mortal World" (i.e. the opposite of Higan). Witch runes below reads "Game Over". I'm not sure how reliable this is, can anyone who've played (or have access to special BD/DVD with unlock codes) confirm? --0x99 18:27, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

I saw this on 2ch and it seemed like people weren't taking it seriously...which makes me think along with the name which is clearly a joke, that it's probably a fan shop. Unfortunately, I'm pretty busy so I won't personally be getting to the Homu route for a couple days at least, to verify. --randomanon 20:01, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Possibly because they're trying to avoid spoilers. I've found someone mentions HOMULILLY do exists in the DVD/BD special (unlock required), but you can't fight with her (the game is Game Over instantly) so there's no witch card for her. Will probably have to wait few days for confirmation. --0x99 20:09, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
They could have at lead given us her nature and description --SPDUDE48 20:15, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
That's the problem—nature and description are in witch card (like the one for Itzli) which appears after you defeat the witch but you can't defeat Homulilly in the game. (Also I found it pretty funny her witch name is literally "Homu Yuri" (ほむ百合), which make it even more confusing whether this is real or fake.) --0x99 20:20, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Anyhow, if not real that must be the best fan made witch ever. IDK, Gekidan Inucurry might have put a weird name on purpose, after the Kyubey witch anything is possible. --Derp101 20:27, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Homulilly might not be her name but actually "Homu Yuri" and she gets to be together with Kriemhild Gretchen. That is one sick ending bro! --Derp101 21:33, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Doujins where?! --Mutopis 02:29, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
OK, I was able to verify where it's from. It's from an unlocked (therefore not hidden) gallery of Inu-Curry. If you look here, the first two images show the menu screens. The remainder are examples of what's in the gallery. There's images that are work-in-progress designs and some that look surreal enough they may just be art designs, that are not actually in the game. The Production Note had that where some of Inu Curry real designs were right next to pages of designs that never made it into the anime. Unfortunately, it's impossible to know without seeing whether it's in the game then. Thinking about it more though, it's probably going to be in the game but well, I'm still not sure if it isn't more of a joke than anything else. But it's an official joke! --randomanon 22:09, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Homu Yuri... I gotta give it to Inu-Curry, at this point they may as well just stop pretending this is subtext... --Mutopis 01:41, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
I see a string of Witch's Kisses on the second screenshot: Gisela - Albertine - Ophelia? - ????? - ????? - Candeloro? - Brain Witch? - Needle Witch?. I hope we see everything in the Gallery soon. Hopefull we'll see Witch cards. --SPDUDE48 21:52, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
The middle two kisses look like Gretchen's and Homulilly's, I think. --Neuchadjinys 01:48, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
How are we going to deal with the witch information in the witch page? This is going to be a problem... --Mutopis 01:43, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
You mean the lack of witch card or the organization of the page? For organization I think we can have separate subsections for each titles (in the witch's page) if anything differs (similar to character page in .hack//Wiki). For lack of witch card, maybe a bit of background e.g. where did this come from will do for the time being. --0x99 12:16, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
My body wasn't ready! 0_o --Derp101 18:25, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
I hope one day we can ask someone or the creators if Inu Curry was being blunt or if it was an industry joke about it, fans would like to know... --Mutopis 07:59, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

  • Homulilly according with 4chan comments:

Homura’s witch, Homulilly:

>It’s a record player with the infinity symbol under it, inside an hourglass.

>It says “Unable to move foward, the witch continuously spins and spins like a broken record, repeating the same sound over and over again for all eternity.”

>Bad end - Homura becomes witch, the universe ends, game over. Can’t load your save, you have to start the route all over again.

I hope we can verity this quickly so we can start working on the page... --Mutopis 09:21, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
On which thread were this comments found. Does it say anything about a nature? --SPDUDE48 10:17, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
It came from this blog. Nothing about its nature as of yet. --Mutopis 10:58, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

Walpurgis Night's Name

Did they actually reveal it or is it still "?????" --Universalperson 02:21, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

Still ????? AFAIK. --0x99 13:08, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
Perhaps Walpurgis' Real name will be revealed in the movie, maybe something about the name is some sort of secret or it is too shocking to reveal... --Mutopis 13:28, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
IMHO Walpurgis is a gimmick, a reverse Deus Ex Machina of the series. Revealing her real name would be killing the character. --0x99 13:54, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

Comments from 4chan

More commentary from Japanese fans:

  • I like how Madoka kind of tossed away Sayaka’s and Hitomi’s friendship for Homura.
  • Kyubey also states that Madoka may want to protect others, but her true emotion and reason was because she’s able to protect and watch over helpless Homura and spend her daily life with her.

Ok, I can buy Madoka tossing Sayaka's friendship over Homura if certain conditions changed the nature of Madoka and Sayaka's friendship... but the second part? I swear, is like they wanted to make a yuri VN... --Mutopis 12:56, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

It came from the internet. I am sure it is reliable.

"I am going through the comments from 4chan and picking up what seems believable, I wish there was a way to quickly verify some of these:" --Mutopis 09:15, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

  • The option of saving Mami from Charlotte is the one where you retreat and secretly follow her. In other words, Mami won't let you come along no matter what.
    • Once Mami is saved, Mami tells Homura she’s sorry she doubted her all this time, and tells her inner feelings towards Madoka and Sayaka about being lonely. Mami and Homura form a friendship. Along the days you can watch scenes where Mami invites Homura over and gives her cake and talks about her family’s death.
  • H.N. Elly - Homura finds Madoka and saves her from the witch, instead of Sayaka, since she hasn’t contracted. • Next, is now Sayaka. Homura wants to prevent Sayaka from contracting, watching Sayaka in the shadows and grieving over Kyousuke on how he cant play the violin. Homura greets Sayaka at the hospital who’s taking to Kamijou.
    • Believe in Sayaka, and explain everything that’s going on about Sayaka to Madoka. — Sayaka doesn’t contract. She gets mad at kyuubey and rejects his contract. Next day, Hitomi says her father’s close friend is an American surgeon who figured out a way to heal Kamijou’s hands. Sayaka confesses to Kyousuke before Kyousuke goes to America for his surgery. Kyousuke accepts her feelings, and thanks her. Sayaka doesn’t become a Puella Magi, never meets Kyouko, and lives on a happy life.
  • Homura now meets Kyouko. She invites Kyouko over to her house and forms a partnership to fight against Walpurgisnacht. Kyouko meets Mami, her old friend, but the two hate each over due to past disputes.
    • Homura calms the two and persuades them to make up and become friends again. The two talk about right strategies against Walpurgis.
  • Over the course of days, since Sayaka grows insanely distant from Madoka, since she spends almost all of her time with Kamijou, Madoka begins to feel extremely lonely.
    • She invites Homura over, or goes out with Homura with all the chances she gets. Homura tries to decline because she beleives that if she becomes too close to Madoka, Madoka would want to protect her and contract with Kyuubey. But her emotions get in the way, and she can’t bear to see Madoka sad, and ultimately cannot reject.
      • Later that night, Kyuubey, who had almost no role, sneaks into Madoka’s house, and explains everything about the Puella Magi cycle. Madoka, shocked, leaves her house in the middle of the night and goes to see Homura. Madoka and Homura have a talk, and repeat episode 11 where Homura hugs Madoka, etc.
Everyone hates Kyousuke... boy, if the story is true...

>Ending 1a - If Homura fights alone, or with Kyouko, or with Kyouko and Mami and not the full party, the game will take it as if she fought in the anime timeline-ish kind of. Madoka will contract with Kyuubey, become Ultimate Madoka, and rewrite the world with her powers and delete Witches from Existence.

>Though UNCONFIRMED, but on most of the 2ch players say that you can fight demons, in the wasteland. You fight them endlessly until you die. Ultimate Madoka comes and Saves Homura and revives her. Using the power of all the despair she consumed until now throughout the timelines. Madoka is able to hold only a tiny fragment of existence, and materializes by using the negative energy and Homura’s memories of her, and stays by Homura’s side forever, like a ghost-ish thing. She is only visible to Homura.

>Ending 1b - Everyone participates in Walpurgis, except Madoka. Just the beginning event scene is different than 1a, still the outcome is the same

>Ending 2 - Homura defeats Walpurgis all by herself. Horray, Madoka is saved, Good job. Now go make super homu love to her.

>Secret - If everyone else dies first and Homura last, on the top floor. Homura turns into a witch, the universe ends, since all possibility and hope becomes absolutely and completely lost.

I never heard of anyone getting this "secret" route. I'm assuming it's another Not-Ayase made-up story. All reports from 2ch I've seen so far only mentions you will always end up getting anime's ending (whether Homura fights alone, Mami & Kyouko alive or not, etc.) About the demons, you will only have to fight with it until the ending music (Connect) ends. There's nothing about her dying, etc. --0x99 12:02, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
This reminds me, do we have any info or screen shots regarding the demons? We still know almost nothing about them... --Mutopis 12:08, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
Hmm, I'll try finding screenshots. --0x99 12:12, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
Seriously, there is only those 3 endings? How could it be possible for Homura to defeat Walpurgis alone and yet she failed when with the others? (*smack my face* stupid question, the game developer and Gen are screwing us). I am kind of dumbfound that the endings is as if trying to "ask" us to wait for the continuation of Puella Magi's 3rd movie where it will pick up from what's left of the anime. (*sorry for ranting*) Refering to the demons, perhaps it is still not possible to get that kind of ending, maybe it is a DLC or requires unlocking of special password. You never know what they had for everyone especially when the 3rd movie is not out and putting into the game might spoil the whole ending for the game. Well, just a speculah and not to be taken seriously. Demonicslayer 13:59, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
OK, here is demons: File:MadoPSP Demons.jpg. While you can fight with them, they won't fight you back, you're force to use only Magic Arrow skill, you can't die here, it ends right after Connect ends. --0x99 15:44, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
Someone is telling me the secret route is confirmed [on this wiki]. Can someone verify this? --Universalperson 14:17, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
Probably this part in Homura's route page:

「ワルプルギスの夜」本体と対峙する(HPゲージが表示される)最下層で「敗北」すると、ほむらが魔女化する。 ただし、ゲームオーバーの前にイラストが1枚表示されるだけで、魔女図鑑への登録およびイラストを後で見ることはできない。 特典ディスクのギャラリーに全く同じイラストが収録されているので、鑑賞はこちらで(「○○の魔女」の名前もこちらで明かされている)。

It says if you lost to Walpurgis after the HP gauge is shown, the illustration of Homulilly will be shown before the Game Over message. However this illustration won't appear in Majo Zukan or CG Gallery but you can see it later in special DVD. Rough translations:

When confronting with Walpurgis main body (HP gauge is shown), if you are "Defeated" in the lowest level, Homura will become a witch. However only one illustration will be shown right before Game Over; it won't gets registered to Majo Zukan and you can't watch it later. Gallery in the special DVD has exactly the same illustration, watch it here if you want (her "witch of x" name is revealed in [the illustration in the game].)

Bonus route

"Of course, there is also this:" --Mutopis 09:15, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

>Bonus route is basically full of jokes, drama, and wtfness

>just, key things are.

>Homu slaps Madoka for groping her

>Sayaka and hitomi fight over kyousuke physically and verbally

>Idol mumisan

>super sweet homura-chun

>Ending. Everyone beats walpurgis

>OUR FIGHT HAS JUST BEGUN

>homura facepalms and reverses time.

"Seriously, the part where Homura slaps Madoka because Madoka was groping her sounds highly unlikely and out of character, unless there is evidence of it I am highly skeptical. I will buy the idea of Homura gropping Madoka, but seriously... --Mutopis 09:15, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

In all seriousness, Homura slaps Madoka because Madoka calling herself clumsy and has no trait or whatsoever beside being a magical girl. Homura slaps Madoka and try to comfort her for saying that by saying "even though you're clumsy and stupid, being a cute magical girl is enough", etc. etc. --0x99 11:53, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
This sounds more believable --Mutopis 11:55, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

Verification Filther

Fans are not going to wait for verification and there is bound to be misinformation. I wish there was a way to gather verifiable information from reliable sources to counter the misinformation before it starts spreading, the last thing we want is for this game to be presented to be silly, or bad! If anything it is doing a disservice to the creators of the series --Mutopis 12:48, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

It's hard to do confirmation especially for the game because so far nobody has discovered all the possible endings and there's only a few of us who can read Japanese (although the game is full voice). 2ch/Futaba can give a rough overview of what's possible and what's not possible but that's so far those boards can provide. --0x99 13:21, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

Homuslap event transcript

Full transcript of Homu's Madoslap event in the bonus route:

〈SLAP〉

Madoka: Mami-san's going to release a CD... Everything's going great for Sayaka-chan with Kyousuke-kun, too, and Kyouko-chan is getting along with Sayaka-chan.

Madoka: Everyone is changing in lots of ways... but what's changed for me?

Homura: Do you want to change something?

Madoka: Homura-chan... When did you...?

Homura: Never mind that. So, do you want to change, Madoka?

Madoka: I think maybe it's less like I want to change than like I feel like I have to change.

Madoka: See, there's nothing that I really want to be. Not like Mami-san, Sayaka-chan, or Kyouko-chan.

Madoka: But it's kind of hard just watching that.

Madoka: Because I... became a magical girl with nothing but "I want to be a magical girl"...

Madoka: I guess a girl who can't do anything except being a magical girl is no good.

Madoka: I guess I'm jealous of everyone seeming like they're having so much fun right now.

Madoka: I can't do anything at all besides being a magical girl. I'm a clumsy, slow... useless girl.

Homura: That's not true!

(slap)

Madoka: Kya!

Homura: Madoka, you're a clumsy and slow... and absolutely adorable magical girl! What else do you want?!

Madoka: That... isn't a compliment...

Homura: I... I... you.... over and over... That's why you have to stay you...

Homura: Never change, the way you are now... Have confidence in yourself!!

Homura: You... You're... someone very important and precious to me. Even though you may not remember.

Madoka: Um, Homura-chan. I don't really understand, but I think I kind of get it anyway.

Homura: Thank you... I'm sorry for hitting you even though you don't really understand.

Madoka: No, it's okay. You're just trying to get things across to me.

Madoka: I think it's probably my fault... But can I say just one thing?

Homura: What?

Madoka: ... I did want you to deny that I'm clumsy and slow, a little.

Homura: (automatically) I'm sorry...

Madoka: I knew it, you really do think that about me.

Homura: Uh, um, well...

(Madoka's emotion value increased 20 points)

Just for fun. --0x99 18:07, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

Regarding Kyousuke Hate

I am hearing that there is some hate regarding the character. We need to verify how extensive it is, but also we need to know what is the general reaction and explain why so we can add it to the page explaining the cause, also there was a mention that the hate is huge in 2chan that it created several threads, we need a screen shot of one example (if possible) and a translation with it so it can be added to the Kyousuke page (perhaps fans will forget their hatred of Hitomi after this...) --Mutopis 23:34, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

Hmm, is this related to Kyousuke calling Sayaka "monster" in Sayaka's routes? --0x99 23:37, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
I heard that was one reason, something about how he called her a monster and all that, and the fans reacted negatively about it... --Mutopis 23:41, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
Sayaka doesn't want to save Kyousuke and Hitomi at first, but Kyoko says she should do that. After she saved them, however, they call her monster rather than thank her. This is what happens in Sayaka's route if she become a witch. I personally link it to the third timeline. --Yorkwoo 23:58, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
Yes, but I am trying to get the fan reaction regarding that scene. Do fans now dislike Kyousuke even more after that? I am trying to gauge the fan reaction to it... --Mutopis 05:22, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
There's also this Sayaka's body rotten (another Gem-throwing, thank you Madoka), Kyouko found her Gem then Kyousuke got to see Sayaka alive in her rotten body and call her "Monster". I guess the writer is reincarnation of satan or something. --0x99 00:06, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
UROBUCHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!--Mutopis 05:20, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
I guess in the end, Urobuchi still has a lot of hate to throw into Sayaka. From the looks, Sayaka would be better off with Madoka in the ethereal world or we might see "G-Uro"-"butcher" trying to make her suffer in the 3rd movie again... sigh... Demonicslayer 08:15, 19 March 2012 (UTC)

Homura's route happy ending

I heard that if you defeat Walpurgis with Homura, Mami, Kyouko and Sayaka alive without anybody becoming a witch and without Madoka contracting, you will get the tea party ending instead of anime's ending one. There have been many reports in 2ch that this is true. Can anyone confirm it? --0x99 23:56, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

I also heard someone written about this. This should be reliable. --Yorkwoo 00:05, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
