::::Wait, sorry! Did you mean 'aiken'? The 'B' or 'R' or whatever-it-is rune looks like a 'K'. Neuchadjinys 14:36, 27 June 2011 (UTC)

:::::I misread the red R, and don't see a rune for the second I. Whatever those runes that come before the EN are, K/RI/B/R/YI/MI, they're pretty illegible. I guess we'll have to assume the second red I is in the wrong place and those blobs are supposed to be airi unless another reading makes sense. I wonder if the actual manga is more readable than these scans. KM 22:14, 27 June 2011 (UTC)

::::::I know, right? The right-hand stream probably says 'Airi' too, but it looks like there's 'H's instead of 'I's. But that would be 'ahrh' and wouldn't make any sense. Also, I realized why Airi's runes are so hard to read-- the text is written in English characters again on top of it! Neuchadjinys 22:55, 27 June 2011 (UTC)

Attempt at translating the runes.

Not making as much progress with the other image, but the lower left word in it looks like "swine"

I've found a full transcription of the runes. I think it looks pretty accurate. Airi's read 'SHINE KOROSHITE YARU SHINE KOROSHITE' and 'YUURI GOMEN NASAI MORATA INOCHI KONNA NO', and Yuuri's read 'TASUKETE AIRI' and 'AIRI MAMORE NAKUTE GO(MEN NE?)'. Neuchadjinys 05:17, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
Airi's runes full version
Yuuri's runes full version
Where did you find those? They do look correct. Very nice.
The B on the left side of the Yuuri runes is suspicious, and I wonder if the smudges in the narrow area between the words are supposed to be something, but it's illegible and I'll believe that guy's reading if "aiben" makes sense in Japanese. Is it a variant or part of a variant of aibo? KM 08:32, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
I found them here [1]. I don't know if the blogger made them themself, though. Also, 'aiben'? I think that's the tail end of 'tasukete Airi'. The B is an R and the I sort of runs into the E after it. Also I don't know what the 'EN' after that is supposed to be. Sorry about that. Neuchadjinys 14:32, 27 June 2011 (UTC)

I know, right? The right-hand stream probably says 'Airi' too, but it looks like there's 'H's instead of 'I's. But that would be 'ahrh' and wouldn't make any sense.
