Help Archive Threads
We need to slurp down all the 4chan Threads from foolz into a nice little offline archive, so that we have threads to put on the Internet Archive. To archive these massive amounts of threads, we need lots of help to do so.
Saving threads from foolz is very easy: Just go to the link, right-click the page and select "Save web page as...", and then choose "Save web page, complete". Put the resulting files into a folder with the hierarchy Section name -> Thread # or Title. A good example is the first one I made.
If anyone can make a script that does the exact same thing automatically (my wget skills are not up to par), please post it here. If someone makes a script that extracts the raw data from the threads into a format that can be easily parsed (like the 2ch .dat), that would be even better.
