The Veranda of Madoka (まどか☆えんがわ Madoka☆Engawa) is a manga spin-off by PAPA, originally serialized in Manga Time Kirara Magica starting from the first issue.
Plot
A story where the magical girls are all siblings living under the same roof. All the girls are magical girls except Madoka.
Characters
- Mami is the eldest, she has a part time job, cooks for the family and constantly worries about everyone else. She often has to give things up for others.
- Kyoko is the second eldest, she collects the most Grief Seeds for the family. When she's not fighting she's lazy and doesn't care about her image.
- Homura is the middle sister. She likes Madoka and doesn't want her to become a magical girl.
- Sayaka is the second youngest and a rookie magical girl. She has a bad habit of forgetting to bring her Soul Gem with her causing her to fall unconscious.
- Madoka is the youngest sister, she tries to help out the best she can for Mami and the family.
- Kyubey is the family's pet. They eat Grief Seeds. Homura calls them 'Incubator' just because she thinks it's cool.
- Hitomi is still Madoka and Sayaka's school friend. After a misunderstanding where Kyoko uses her magic to pretend to be Sayaka at school, Hitomi develops feelings for Sayaka.
