Summary
A magical girl who is reckless and full of energy. She comes from an historic, honorable family and she will always respect and admire her grandfather and great-grandfather who guided it to prosperity. On the other hand, in the present day where the Yui household has fallen into ruin, she struggles greatly to try and restore its name, and for that purpose, her aim is to become the strongest magical girl of all. “These are words I love: We won’t know if we don’t give a try! Leaving things to chance isn’t good? If we stopped before that, nothing would happen!”
She contracted with Kyubey in order to save the declining family restaurant she inherited from her father/grandfather, but as soon as the money was transferred to her mother's account her mother left on a luxury cruise with her grandmother, leaving Yui to take care of the restaurant by herself. That didn't break her spirit, as she's still determined to become the strongest magical girl and save the family's restaurant.
