Maybe I'll find a webhosting service elsewhere and install the Mediawiki by myself. In this case, I'd like to know how much disk space are you using, as well as the monthly bandwidth. - Actually I've tried to build a Chinese madoka magika wiki on Wikia a year ago. Recently I'm thinking about building a wiki on a webhosting service instead of Wikia. Meanwhile I would like to know your suggestions about:
- Choice of webhosting (eh... I'm also asking the one who built up SakiWiki)
- Building up MediaWiki (I mean tips&tricks about the configuration, witch runes, templates, etc.)
- Possibility of putting download links in discussion page. versus possibility (or safety) of doing so on Wikia
- Ideas for gaining popularity
