Welcome to Café Grief Seed! (カフェ☆グリーフシードへようこそ! Kafe☆Gurīfushīdo e Yōkoso!) is a manga spin-off by Kotori Hinata (陽菜コトリ), originally serialized in Manga Time Kirara Magica issues 1 to 9. The series was collected into a volume released on October 26, 2013.
Plot
A slice-of-life story where Madoka and the other magical girls work at a cake café. Mami, Kyoko and Homura already work at the cafe whilst Madoka and Sayaka start to train as employees. Kyubey is the cafe manager and Homura discovers the contract to work at the cafe makes the girls have to work there forever. This is this story's parallel of Homura discovering the fate of magical girls turning into witches. The witches in this story are simply troublesome customers and regulars. Kyosuke and Hitomi appear later in the story.
