Speculations
- The object in the sky in the beginning of Episode 1 seems to be an upside down figure of Witch wearing a dress and veil, arms extended. The bottom has a tomoe pattern on it.
- There is much speculation regarding whether the object, if a witch, is truly the character Sayaka-- there are many similarities between the Witch's and Sayaka's outfit.
- Homura's documents concerning Walpurgisnacht contain illustrations of a similar witch.
