TV Broadcast and Internet Streaming
The Madoka anime (Korean Title: 마법소녀 마도카★마기카 Mabeobsonyeo Madoka Magika, Magical Girl Madoka Magica) is licensed for TV broadcast and streaming by ANIPLUS (애니플러스 Aenipeulleoseu) in the Republic of Korea. ANIPLUS simulcasted the show one day after the Japanese broadcast on its TV channel and website with Japanese audio and Korean subtitles and is currently streaming the show on its website.
BD and DVD
The anime is licensed by Mirage Entertainment (미라지 엔터테인먼트 Milaji Enteoteinmeonteu) for BD and DVD release in the Republic of Korea.
- A limited-edition DVD boxset with volumes 1 to 3 containing episodes 1 to 6 will be released on November 25, 2011. The boxset has 3 discs and a 36 page booklet, but the soundtrack/drama CDs are not included. The audio is in Japanese with Korean subtitles with no Korean dub or commentaries. The list price is ₩44,000, but it can be purchased online for around ₩39,600~₩39,800.
- A limited-edition DVD boxset with volumes 4 to 6 containing episodes 7 to 12 will be released at a future date.
- The BD boxset of volumes 1 to 3 will be released on December 15, 2011. The price and details have not been determined, however, the OSTs may possibly be included.
