Summary

This is the only one choice in the beginning of the game. The storyline is almost the same as in the anime. However, the ending result differs. The route only has one ending, so players would be able to easily complete it. Other characters' points of view can be understood from this route. This route is considered a tutorial introduction to the game.

The storyline of this route is almost identical as in the anime. However, Homura fails to shoot Kyubey in time so Madoka finally makes a contract and becomes a magical girl. Homura shoots Kyubey and resets the timeline.

Strategy

  • Mami, Homura, and Kyoko are strong fighters, the player should have no problem using them.
  • No matter how Mami defeats Charlotte's first form, she will always die. So it is OK to fire her Tiro finale, as in the anime. Charlotte's second form can be dealt with easily by Homura, by using her clock-up(クロックアップ) and Time-stop(時間停止) magic.
  • The hardest part in the game is Elsa Maria's barrier. Since Sayaka's emotion value is inevitable high, her soul gem will be easily tainted, even by walking only. Don't forget to leave enhancement items for her. Since this is the last battle, it is suggested to use all remaining items for her.
  • When faced against Elsa Maria, be careful of the witch's attack. Before her attacks, there are hints/warnings on the map. Always open the map to escape. After Sayaka reaches halfway of her destination, Kyoko will join her. It is better to switch Sayaka for Kyoko.
  • Although Madoka can gain a lot of Karma value in this route, it takes a long time to obtain it so it is not the fastest way to do it.
