Hey Randomanon, where are you getting those Production Note scans from? Are you doing them yourself, or did you download them from somewhere? I own the book already, but there's some stuff I really would like to show to other people (especially in the Gekidan Inu Curry book). [[User:Jonjonaug|Jonjonaug]] 08:29, 4 December 2011 (UTC)

I guess I should clarify a few things that seem contradictory:
The reason I ask as a general rule for people to post translations for scans on the talk page or other ways for scans is for three reasons:
:1) Despite the file name, some scans are not classified to a particular page.  So it'd be confusing if the translation was put on a page it's not suppose to be belong.
:2) Translations are posted in different ways on different pages, sometimes using tables with annoying code and so on...it's easier for translators to post text (and hopefully more translations) and leave the editing to someone else (usually me).
:3) Because of the higher level of knowledge required to interpret most scanned materials, for a new translator I don't know, I may want some time to check and confirm the accuracy is good enough to post.
Then why then do I say it's fine to add translations to the main pages of newly created pages like the Secret Project, iphone game, etc?  Because with those getting major traffic, I feel confident that any errors in the content will be quickly fixed.  Plus the content is usually simple in format, at least at first, so it's just the same to post the content there as on the talk page. --[[User:Randomanon|randomanon]] 03:27, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

For Translators

I guess I should clarify a few things that seem contradictory:

The reason I ask as a general rule for people to post translations for scans on the talk page or other ways for scans is for three reasons:

1) Despite the file name, some scans are not classified to a particular page. So it'd be confusing if the translation was put on a page it's not suppose to be belong.
2) Translations are posted in different ways on different pages, sometimes using tables with annoying code and so on...it's easier for translators to post text (and hopefully more translations) and leave the editing to someone else (usually me).
3) Because of the higher level of knowledge required to interpret most scanned materials, for a new translator I don't know, I may want some time to check and confirm the accuracy is good enough to post.

--randomanon 03:27, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
