I don't know exactly what chapter it is from but it seems like her house seen in the afternoon/sunset. Her house "mixing" with the environment by getting painted by a color is not unusual though. I uploaded File:HomuraHouseButRed.jpg as an example. It is from Episode 8 (and I have the BlueRay version). I don't know if you want to add all of the "alternative versions" or you want only one.

Yeah the problem is, Ive looked through EVERY episode and none of them had the yellow, I do have BD versions, so maybe its from an early broadcast. I also found this piss window??? T_T I think it basically confirms what I believe. - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 18:49, 10 September 2026 (UTC)

Indeed, you also have the room framed in three colors (red, that shade of yellow, green and even some pink) in Eternal, when Homura hugs Madoka (or after) in what's the equivalent of Episode 11 (about the 1:09:00 mark), so yes SHAFT just likes to add colors for no apparent reason some times. Based on the date (February 2011), it looks like it was uploaded when the original broadcast was still ongoing, so maybe even they thought it was too saturated and changed the color at some point in the subsequent releases.

If your original question was framed as to replace the first image that appears in Akemi Residence with the more "color neutral", then I agree it makes more sense. You could only argue that the night version has more shades and hides some minor details of the building though. The yellow version could be left in the Gallery.
