==The Goddess and the Mysterious Record==
===August 17th, 2018 Scene===
In the distant past, long into the future, 
beyond the furthest reaches of the sky, 
sits the [[Ultimate Madoka in Magia Record|goddess of all Magical Girls.]]

At the corner of the universe, 
she listens to the sounds from 
countless records spinning before her, 
smiling gently all the while.

She watches over each and every Magical Girl, 
while observing the first stirrings of the universe, 
and cheerful chatter of girls in the distant future.

She is aware of all of them equally, as one, 
with none drawing her attention alone.

===August 18th, 2018 Scene===
But wait...
Where did this record come from?

When even the twinkling stars slept,
the goddess discovered a singular, unknown
record she had forgotten was spinning.

She should have known it, but did not.
She did not recognize it, though she should.

She had never experienced anything
remotely similar since she came to be.
Filled with excitement and uncertainty,
she reached out for this disc,
and gently set her needle upon it.

From its grooves, she hears the
familiar songs of [[Magical Girls]].

A song of a small heroine, weaving history.
A girl dreaming of galaxies in an alley.
One penning her feelings in a secret room.

Each song the goddess heard belonged to
a Magical Girl who had received her grace.

She nodded her head to their familiar songs,
wondering how she did not know this record,
with its music that she knew so well.

===August 19th, 2018 Scene===

Chin resting on her hand, elbow upon a planet's
ring, the goddess was listening closely to
these songs to which she was so well acquainted,
when suddenly her eyes flew open in shock.

It was a song she had never heard before.

Flustered, the goddess listened to many other
records, waiting to hear the same song.
But no matter how many skies she raced
through, the unfamiliar Magical Girl's
song only played on the record before her.

"Well now, how are you, frayed edge of fate?
The film flies off the reel, we grow irate.
Crack eggs, pull an eyelid down all the way.
Hey there, all of you girls come to play.
Enjoy what you have, once you come to stay."

Even the cheery introduction before the
strange song was completely new to her.

Imagine!  The song of a Magical Girl
I don't know.  How could this be?

The goddess tilted her head in confusion,
and when she listened to the record again,
she focused with rapt attention to the
unfamiliar voice and new song.

How long had it been since she'd heard a new
song?  Was it the roar of a dinosaur at dawn?
Or when those huge desert graves were built?

No, it was neither.

The last time she'd heard a song for the first 
time was when she was but a human girl.

Still finding not knowing the song curious,
the goddess tried to harmonize her own
blessing song with the Magical Girl's voice.

But what's this?
No matter how hard she sang, the goddess'
voice left not a mark on the record.
She peered at it front to back, but the
grooves in the record changed not one bit.

===August 20th, 2018 Scene===

For some reason,
her voice would not carve into the record.
This had never happened before.

How can this be?  My song is being left out!

The goddess was very upset,
and gradually, it gave way to anxiety.

She decided to listen to the record
from the beginning again.

I have heard this song before...

The start of the record was, of course,
filled with songs she had heard many times.
She had blessed each one with her own song.

No matter how many times she strained to
listen to their songs or how long she stared
at them, that didn't change.

So I really should know this record.

She racked her mind for an explanation and 
decided to listen to the end of the record.

Oh?

Now I can't hear anything.

None of this had happened before.
The goddess' anxiety began
to morph into a panic.

Now, and long ago, and far into the future,
and from every angle and area,
she held infinite knowledge of all things
from where she sat quietly in the heavens,
watching over Magical Girls.

That's what it meant to be the goddess
of Magical Girls, and yet she could
not listen to the end of this record.

Suspicion bloomed in her toward the songs
she had only just listened to so raptly.

A girl surrounded by machines, studying space.
A girl in her bed, spinning stories for all.
A girl burning her short life to give light.
And a girl devoted to each of those girls.

Every one of their singing voices rang clear
and sweet.  But in all her millions of years,
in all her trips across time and space...

The goddess had never heard any of
their songs until she stumbled upon
this new, mysterious record.

===August 21st, 2018 Scene===

So she listened to it, note by note,
peering closely at each of the singing girls.

The goddess sought the point where these
newfound Magical Girls started singing.

Ah, just now... I heard something odd.

It was an impossibly small change,
compared to the vastness of the universe;
as small and insignificant as the sneeze of a flea.

The goddess stopped the record in haste and
stared at the evenly carved grooves on its surface.

And what did she find?

Evidence that a new groove was carved into it,
much like when she sings her blessed song.

And what's more... the groove was
still in the process of being carved.

It was the first time she'd seen the record,
the first time she'd heard those girls' songs,
and the first time an unfamiliar groove formed.

The unfamiliar songs had sprung
from that singular point.

Is this record playing bad music?

The goddess could not tell,
for the record was still in the throes
of its own creation.

I should give up on blessing it
with a song for now.

She had no choice.  If she were to force
her voice in while a groove was forming,
the record may lose its direction.
It could even break.

The goddess chose to watch over it instead.

Though if this record does turn out 
to be bad, I will have to destroy it...

When the record is complete, replete with
entrancing, strange, and terrifying songs...

Will the goddess snap the record in two?
Or will she bless it with her song as well?
