Mio (美緒 Mio) is a minor supporting character appearing in Puella Magi Oriko Magica: Sadness Prayer. She is part of a group of magical girls hailing from Kazamino City, comprised of Lina Hitomi, Miyako Saki, and Mai Akane.

Personality
Mio appears to be a very aggressive and angry person, but it's unclear if this is her normal personality or because of her extreme hatred of Sasa Yuuki.
Story
Backstory
All that is known about her is that she was apart of Lina's group in Kazamino and has been fighting against Sasa for a time with them, seeking to avenge the death of her best friend Futaba who was killed by her.
Mio's backstory was unknown until Kuroe Mura revealed it on her Twitter account. Mio and Futaba were childhood friends, but one day both got into an accident that left her in a comatose state and Futaba with a scar. A few months after Mio awakened due to Futaba making a contract with Kyubey. Later Mio also made a contract to erase Futaba's scar from the accident. At an unknown point, Mio and Futaba joined Lina's group.
During Sadness Prayer
Mio is first seen helping Lina and the other members of her team fight against Sasa in Kazamino. After Sasa escapes, Mio tracks her down and fights the other magical girl by herself against Lina's orders. It is revealed that Sasa killed a member of Mio's team named Futaba, who was Mio's best friend. After Sasa insults the late Futaba, Mio becomes infuriated and deliberately tries to kill Sasa. Before she has a chance to she is killed by Kirika who appears out of nowhere.
Her body is later found by the group with Lina blaming herself for not taking into account that Mio's hatred towards Sasa would push her to fight alone and get killed.
Powers and Abilities
She is seen shooting a chain from her weapon, which she used to wrap around the wings of Sasa's Witch and pull her self up to Sasa's height to attack her.
Fitting with her wish to erase something, she can also erase all of her tracks to cloak herself.
