I just read the first volume (well, not reading so much as skimming because I can't read Japanese) and it seems like the first volume is basically the third drama CD. However, there are quite a few extra plot points and extra details included, such as Mami running into two other magical girls, seeing how Kyoko's father discovered she was a magical girl, what happened after Kyoko's father discovered said fact but before he slaughtered the family, and a bunch of Mami/Kyoko scenes. It's also interesting to note that this story is different after all; the volume ends with Sayaka and Kyoko's confrontation; however, instead of Homura interfering, it's Mami who does so this time; she's still alive at this point in the story. --Silvermoon424 18:48, 17 October 2012 (UTC)

It seems that in this timeline, someone escapes from her fate, but someone doesn't. Sayaka still inevitably becomes a witch, although she doesn't say "I'm such a fool" this time.
Mami: "Please be with me, not for your own or others' sake, but for my own sake."

  A witch that attacks Mami while fighting the bee witch. Resembles a large carnivorous plant. It and the bee witch resemble the two girls Mami once met.

  As shown in this image from Volume 3, they are their witch forms.

  When Mami almost become a witch, she has an illusion seeing Candeloro calls her to give up.

  And her familiars.
