Template:Category

Expands to a category link, but when expanded in the Template namespace, it becomes a visible link instead.

Example:

{{Category|Characters|mode=ordered}}

becomes

1. Category:Characters

Parameters:

• The name of the category page, without its namespace.
• An optional sort key for including the page in the category
• text – The text of the category link when showing it as a link in the Template namespace.
• mode – The mode for showing the category link in the Template namespace. Can be ordered, unordered, or plain. Defaults to plain.
