Welcome to Café Grief Seed! (カフェ☆グリーフシードへようこそ!, Kafe☆Gurīfushīdo e Yōkoso!) is a manga spin-off by Kotori Hinata (陽菜コトリ), originally serialized in Manga Time Kirara Magica issues 1 to 9. The series was collected into a volume released on October 26, 2013.

Plot

A slice-of-life story where Madoka and the other magical girls work at a cake café. Mami, Kyoko and Homura already work at the cafe whilst Madoka and Sayaka start to train as employees. Kyubey is the cafe manager and Homura discovers the contract to work at the cafe makes the girls have to work there forever. This is this story's parallel of Homura discovering the fate of magical girls turning into witches. The witches in this story are simply troublesome customers and regulars. Kyosuke and Hitomi appear later in the story.

The witch of Saturday

A long haired woman who visits the cafe every Saturday and has ice coffee from opening to closing. She has a strange affliction towards Kyubey and won't accept anything but the coffee she wants.

The Spitting witch

This universe's version of Charlotte. An extremely rude woman who arrives after seeing the cafe in a magazine. She complains about everything and leaves after her dessert isn't up to her standards, making Mami upset. She leaves her bag which has the original Charlotte's face on and Madoka keeps it since she exclaimed she would never be coming back.

Witch duo

Two witches who arrive asking for a discount. Sayaka explains they have to be regulars to get discounts and even free gifts. She helps show them how to sign up on their phone.
