Eternal Sakura (Swimsuit Ver.) is a version of the Sakura Rumor that debuted in the mobile game Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story: Magia Record. She is just the Sakura Rumor with an alternate outfit that uses holograms of animals as weapons.

- A tamatebako (玉手箱) is a jeweled treasure box, the most famous of which was owned by Urashima Tarou. According to the fairytale, Urashima had saved the life of a turtle. To thank him, the queen of the sea Otohime invited Urashima to the Dragon Palace at the bottom of the sea where he feasted and lived for a number of days. When he longed to return home, Otohime gave him a tamatebako and instructed him to never open it. When Urashima returned to the surface, he realized several years had passed during his time in the Dragon Palace so he opened the box and became an old, old man (the box contained the passage of time he had spent there).
- The story of Urashima has many similarities with that of Rip van Winkle and of Pandora's box.
