Do we really need the full Little Mermaid story? For one thing, isn't that what hyperlinks are all about - you don't need to include the full text, you just put a link to it, and for another, the version here includes the clumsy "happy ending" retcon. The most authentic original version (and the one I read as a child) is where she dissolves into foam. Maybe if we get a "lol Mai-HiME" ending, that can stay though. Angelus 09:25, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

The story of the Little Mermaid could be perhaps placed in a new page in the wiki itself or a link to the original wiki? -Crosse 06:16, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
See The Articles talkpage. If we separate the theories (speculah) from the articles (analysis and intertextuality), then maybe we can create a page for The Little Mermaid and link it from here? --Homerun-chan 16:53, 9 March 2011 (UTC)

Wheel symbolism

What do you thinks about Buddhist interpretation of wheel symbolism in Episode 9? I think themes of cyclic repetition, reincarnation and karma fit there pretty well. Is it worth adding into the article? 82.117.249.4 18:30, 7 March 2011 (UTC)

Windchimes

At 13:03 in the version I have, the scene where Madoka and Kyoko are talking about possibly saving Sayaka. There are two windchimes which stand out to me. One is of a mermaid, which speaks to Octavia and the other is a unicorn, which if memory serves speaks to Kyoko's witch form as well. I noticed it quite by accident but it is interesting.
