Witch of Mirrors origin. It misled the PMs of East and West to duke it out. Even with the combined efforts of Yachiyo, Mifuyu, Kanagi, Meru, Momoko and Tsuruno, they are not even able to navigate to the deepest part of the barrier.

According to Tsuruno's guess, it directs its misfortune at PMs, so they are the food for its growth. Yachiyo notes that it is not an active one looking for trouble and can only cause harm when people enter the barrier and get misled by their own suspicion.

To prevent further conflict, defeating the Mirror Witch is the key to gain the right to negotiate with the center region. It likes mirror, so the combined efforts of East and West allow the witch to be led to its current location: a ruin in the East with a caretaker.

Mifuyu had to admit she is growing weaker. Since she saved Kanagi's butt in the barrier and the later will not take a no to returning favor, Mifuyu request her to aid Yachiyo when she is in need when she is not around.
