• Her 5✦ Kioku, Hollow Woman, is a reference to the 2000 movie Hollow Man, in which the protagonist, a scientist, turns invisible due to his own serum. This is likely a double reference to Mabayu's ability of bending light to turn herself invisible and her nature as a cinephile.
• When the player obtains her 5✦ Kioku Hollow Woman, a special animation plays when the "crystal door" is opened. She is the second Kioku to have this, after Madoka Kaname's 5✦ Kioku Nothing to Despair, Ever.
