Magia Exedra/Gameplay/Upgrade Quests

Upgrade Quests are the main source of Kioku upgrade materials in Magia Exedra, unlocked after clearing Main Quest - Rose Garden Witch Part I. There are 3 types of Upgrade Quests:

Kioku Training Quests
Magic Unlock Quests
Crystalis Quests

Kioku Training

Kioku Training Quests allow the player to gain Growth Enhancement, an item needed to increase a Kioku's Level. After completing the highest rank each round costs 10 QP.

Magic Unlock

Magic Unlock Quests allow the player to gain materials for upgrading Kioku's magic level. The quests are separated by element, each one giving a different type of material. After completing the highest rank each round costs 10 QP.

Crystalis

Crystalis Quests allow the player to gain Crystalis Abilities for Kioku. The quests are separated by element. Unlike the Kioku Training and Magic Unlock Quests its ranks aren't dependant on the player's unlocked Puella Pictura, rather having its own unique ranks: Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard and Extra.

Skipping

In the Crystalis Quests skipping works differently, as it doesn't just cost 10 QP to skip a stage, instead it's required to use a Crystalis Quest Skip Ticket. By using one of these, clearing a Crystalis Quest is treated as if you'd fought it twice in a row, thus increasing the drops. You can use up to 5 tickets at a time – using 5 is as if you'd fought it 6 times in a row.
