Her Doppel resonates with its master, and wants to soak everything around it in a young, verdant summer hue. It sucks the carbonated juice that surrounds it into its mouth, then sprays it and lets it pop absolutely everywhere. Everything the juice touches practically bursts with fun: people bursting into motion, personalities bursting with joy, hairstyles bursting with individuality, et cetera. No matter what scene results from the Doppel’s influence, everyone gets high on the carbonated scent, and there’s nary a scream of terror or pain to be heard. Incidentally, the Doppel seems to dislike sparkler fireworks, as they seem to declare the end of summer.

Side Story

Nagisa Momoe's (Swimsuit) Side Story

Nagisa tries to convince Mami, Kyoko, Sayaka, Madoka, and Homura to go to the sea with her, but they all decline for various reasons. Frustrated at being treated like a child, she storms off alone. She meets Felicia, Ayame, and Kako while buying snacks, and the three of them wander together before getting lost. They visit Tsuruno at her family restaurant, where she feeds them and offers to join their trip, but they sneak away without her. The girls spend the day at the sea, playing and enjoying themselves until evening, when Felicia, Ayame, and Kako prepare to leave. Nagisa, having nowhere to return to, insists on staying. Yachiyo, Konoha, and Hazuki arrive to pick up the others and, learning Nagisa's situation, invite her to stay overnight at their home. That night, unable to sleep, Nagisa realizes that despite the fun day, something feels missing. She understands that she misses the cheese Mami gives her and decides she must return and face her. Konoha and Hazuki accompany Nagisa back to Mitakihara, where Mami is waiting. Mami thanks them and promises Nagisa that today she will do whatever Nagisa wants. Mami gathers everyone and they return to the sea. Nagisa tests Mami's promise by asking for sweets and activities, and Mami agrees to everything. When Nagisa goes to retrieve Mami's phone for a photo, the Witch of the former Nagisa appears. Nagisa fights the Witch alone, revealing a new power, and defeats it with some assistance on the Familiars. Afterward, Mami produces cheese and cheesecake she brought, and Nagisa realizes that Mami is the one who gives her the cheese that truly satisfies her. She resolves to cherish every moment with everyone.
