Madoka	It is brilliant rays of sunshine in May.	まどか	それは、5月の麗らかな陽射し。
Homura	It is a cozy family.	ほむら	それは、温かな家族。
Madoka	It is sunny-side up eggs at breakfast.	まどか	それは、朝ご飯の目玉焼き。
Madoka & Homura	And yet, you can find none of these in heaven.	まどか& ほむら	けれど、そのどれもが天国にはないものです。
Madoka & Homura	What is "happiness"?	まどか& ほむら	幸せって、何かしら。
Homura	It is having someone calling out your name.	ほむら	それは、誰かに名前を呼ばれること。
Madoka	It is calling out someone's name.	まどか	それは、誰かの名前を呼ぶこと。
Homura	It is someone thinking of you.	ほむら	それは、誰かが自分を想ってくれること。
Madoka & Homura	All things the goddess cannot have.	まどか& ほむら	それはなにひとつ、神様にはないものでした。
Homura	The lizard girl came to think of the goddess as pitiful.	ほむら	トカゲの女の子は、神様のことがとてもかわいそうに思えてきました。
Madoka	And so, the lizard girl tore the goddess into two and she took one of those halves from heaven down to Earth with her.	まどか	こうしてトカゲの女の子は神様をまっぷたつに引き裂いて、その片方を天国から地上へと連れ去ってしまったのです。
Homura	That radiance, as cruel as it is kind, when seen in the dark... it is blinding.	ほむら	その残酷なまでに優しい輝き、闇の中で出逢うには……まぶしすぎる。
Girl A	Lately, there have been a lot of cats around, huh.	A	最近猫が多いね。
Girl B	I hear there are dead cats walking among them.	B	死んだ猫が混じっているんだって。
Girl A	How do you tell the dead cats from the rest?	A	死んだ猫はどうやって見分けるの?
Kyoko	I can't forgive anyone who would turn their blade toward someone else for such an incomprehensible reason as that.	杏子	あたしが許せねえのはな、そういう訳の分かんねえ理由で他人にヤッパを向けるやつだよ。
Sayaka	No way, what's going on here? Why can I read these letters?	さやか	嘘でしょ、どういうこと。なんであたしにこの文字が読めるの?
Hitomi	It sounds like they're being silenced. If they don't keep the magic secret, it'll stop working.	仁美	それはきっと、口止めされているんですわ。魔法のご利益って内緒にしておかないと、効き目が消えてしまうものでしょう。
Nagisa	I smell a conspiracy afoot!	なぎさ	これは何やら陰謀の臭いがするのです。
Kyubey	Why do I have to do that? There's no merit to that at all.	キュゥべえ	どうして僕が? それこそ、何のメリットもないじゃないか。
