Talk:Madoka Magica Episode 11: The Only Thing I Have Left to Guide Me

I see the yuri references in Madoka but really..."greatest love confession in yuri history?" I understand a sense of humor with some of the fan artwork in galleries, but I don't think this kind of language suits episode summaries. And well the kissing part in the galleries, I think it should be clear that's the projection of what yuri fans may want, but it shouldn't be implied that's what fans want in general. Plenty of Madoka fans prefer to see this as friendship. Honestly, I only see this kind of this leading to trouble with the substantial fanbase that isn't pro-yuri. --randomanon 06:10, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

I am only interpreting what alot of pro-yuri fans were expecting the building up to to the end, but as I indicated at the last pic there was no kissing. Which it is and indication of a missing opportunity or a reaffirmation that there was nothing--Mutopis 06:17, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

Generally hyperbole or personal projections are kept out of the episodes summaries. I'm asking you to be consistent with that approach. Although I'm pro-yuri, I'm mildly offended by it to be honest so I can only imagine what a non-yuri fan would think. -randomanon 06:21, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

Though I appreciate a good yuri pairing like anyone else, I have to agree. People come here to read factual and objectively available information about the series, not personal interpretations or shipwars. It's fine if people want to create a page dedicated to all the yuri found in the series, but it should really, really be kept out of other pages. Therefore, if any mods are reading this, I'd like to propose that there be a "References to Yuri" page created, with all the appropriate contents moved to there (for example, Sayaka and Kyouko's pages are chock-full of this, and now the episode summaries for 11 and 12 also are).

Actually, it's in the wishlist, at top priority at that, and when this page is created the problem should solve itself: everything referring to yuri should disappear from the pages and go there. Truth is, I for one do not have the time nor the knowledge to do it in the near future, so I'll kindly ask the contributors to do it. It doesn't have to be a complete, polished page with references and all at first (what some of the members here were planning IIRC, and I support the idea), but at least cleaning the pages should be done ASAP. Of course, you're free to make that page as long and complete as you want later, but don't delay its creation too much. --Homerun-chan 10:44, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
